I've waited until calls were made before posting:

I am very sad to announce the passing of Leo LaMay, past owner/operator of Riverside Arena in Livonia, Michigan. Leo is the brother of previous owner/operator Onalee (the late Jimmy) Tyra and current owner/operator Lionel LaMay.

Leo was a kind, open, friendly man who spoke with a smile in his voice. We send our love and prayers to the entire LaMay family.

Arrangements will be shared when they are available.

Hello to all of my skating world friends and some personal friends that knew her, it is with sadness that I let you know that my mother, Nancy Ryan passed away yesterday, February 20th. Currently we are working to put a Celebration of Life together honoring her life and especially her love of EVERYTHING roller skating. Once arrangements have been made, we would love for everyone to come and share stories... we know there are a lot of them!

As always, I am sooooo very proud of every skater who participated in the test center. First timers Jia, Olivia, Chiara, Manasa, Dominyck, and Nicole, welcome to skating an individual event in front of a judge!

Thank you so much to the judges who donated their time and efforts, so our skaters could succeed. Cecelia Kelley, Sue Hehn, Al and Mary Dunham, and Phyllis Tomlinson, we are grateful for your service.
