Gratitude post mixed with a little history!!

Last week Mattie's Growth Oil was purchased in its largest amount since it's birth! More importantly I was very appreciative that asked to feature my oils as apart of her giveaways for her July facial. The funny thing is I was going to ask to be featured but she beat me🤣🤣🤣.

Let's go back...After leaving JCPenney Salon (2017) , Amarie was one of my first regular clients. She was also the 1st client to encourage me to raise my prices lol (that's when she had just started her business). Throughout the years she has given me a tablet , a steamer, countless business advice, sat in my chair biweekly or once every 3 weeks faithfully. Long story short every business needs an Amarie 🤣🤣🤣🤣. She has not once called me sista but she has always showed me sisterly love! Long story short get an Amarie.

Never get caught on "who you think should support you or your business" but put energy into those that support you. Gratitude - The quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.

"Google told me my 12 week old is no longer a newborn, my heart is still in awe, my body feels healed, I thank God for my kids, I still can't believe I got kids, the sickest I ever been, of course I feel unstoppable, must have been God looking out, I knew I was having a baby girl, no ultrasound needed, we communicated in the womb, take a moment, life is good ..my sister broke her leg, it almost broke me, I know life is precious, bun said I didn't think you was going to make it, I said why you ain't tell me that lol whole time telling me I'ma be good, the strength of a man, the strength of a woman, sonny hoped for this day, dreams do come true"...

Natural hair! Client was concerned about dry hair and damage. She's off to a great start now. I let her know when she deep conditions she don't have to condition too (rinse out conditioner)! We also discuss how regular trims (3 months in her case) will help her retain more length. It's not always that the hair is not growing, it's lack of care. Though you take care of your hair at home, visiting a professional a few times out of the year helps keep you on track!

Closing out my books at the end of the week. If you would like an appointment before I'm off March 17th, text the salon before the week is out. I will be focusing on my clients making sure their hair is in the best shape and preparing for my bby girl in these last few weeks. ♥️♥️

What makes the difference? This client really captured the vibes of the salon and me as haircare specialist. I service people who may not be comfortable or no longer desire the traditional salon set up. I service one client at a time, usually don't answer my phone while servicing a client. We can talk or be silent. It's like the Salon Spa!

I don't provide services that I know will be damaging to the clients hair or scalp. Healthy hair is always 1st. I also tell clients what they need, but it's always their choice. I'm not a sales woman. Certain styles such a silk press , you need a trim and treatment especially if you are not regularly taking care of your hair. I have packages to make it easier and also to keep "healthy hair" at the center.

The salon is safe, chill, and you can come as you are ...but tell me ahead of time if you haven't combed your hair in 3 months, or want to change your service, so I can plan accordingly. There is no judgement about your hair current state! Most services are always private but very seldom clients overlap due to dryer time, but all Hair Spa Packages are private (still adding services to that menu)! I have all new clients book a consultation or the Bea 1st Time Package. This allows me to service my new clients efficiently without running behind on my regulars.

I try my best to not "hidden fees" or price changes at the time of appointment, however if your hair takes longer than time reserved, or you get additional services there will be an additional fee (detangling, treatments, haircut, etc). I specialize in natural hair , some of my naturals take 3 hours or more (I take my time and do things a certain way to maintain curl pattern and integrity of the hair). It's not uncommon to run behind here and there in this industry but I do my best to communicate even if it's just 10 mins. I believe in being gentle with natural hair and ppl in general!

Got sonny together for his work week lol( that's how these kids be acting about school)..I ask that God keep our kids safe, they learn as much as they can, and enjoy being a child. Also give the teachers the resources, strength, patience, bag they deserve, love, and support thats needed.

♥️♥️.....I'm loving the new growth but color change coming soon. Taking care of the hair is always 1st for me.
