Summer is slowly slipping away, with fall approaching. We are open through Labor Day (based on ice cream supply)

I do not know how to start this post.

I have always looked at these articles and silently wished Oh Sugar would be in one of them. Today was the day. Being a small business is the most difficult daily strain, it is hard to even express into words. This is such an accomplishment for Oh Sugar!

Gomez is a Chihuahua looking for a home…. He is super cute and sweet! Holly is the “pup cup critic” looking for a home.

And….. Goose is in foster care recovering. We are making and selling dog treats to help pay for his care. They are $2 each

If you have driven past the shoppe, you have probably seen alittle movement. I have left the couch and start to open for the season. I think I will be ready next week. 😁🍦

We have made dog cookies for years, but now we are making cupcakes! I will get a dog bone pan too and I will make dog cakes too.

This is Olive, she turned 16 and had a "Sweet 16 Party" Olive had a great day of relaxing in the sun and then sharing her cupcakes with her friends. She loved the cupcakes! She approved them to be put on the menu this year!

I’m going to get back to some Old Oh Sugar ways this year…. And one of them is posting more…. And rewarding for sharing!

In the next couple weeks, closer to opening, we will start picking a winner again for sharing. We used to do it and I stopped….. I don’t know why… lazy probably!

Another is having more treats in the shop. It’s been a struggle to keep them in house for walk ins…. But we are gonna start again! This year!

Yesterday Lloyd came to Oh Sugar! We are selling
~ they are $3 each (fur cookies) and all the monies will be donated to the Niagara SPCA. We make them daily, we ran out yesterday. . .but I made more last night (I was up baking them until midnight! )

We are helping the Niagara SPCA again this year! We all know, I can't say no to a pupperoni. . . . the last couple weeks have been all about Lloyd. These are Furbaby Cookies! They are $3 each all 100% of the money will go to the SPCA.

Lloyd was too tired to come to the shop yesterday, so we are (fingers crossed) thinking he may show up on Thursday. I will post for sure though.

Niagara SPCA reached out to us and asked if we wanted to make a treat for Lloyd! And you know, I can NEVER say no, especially when it comes to pupperonis 🐾🐾🐾

We will sell these for the Niagara SPCA at Oh Sugar! They are $3 each and ALL $3 will go to the SPCA.

Lloyd's itinerary for today:

Visit the Aquarium of Niagara and kiss a Sea Lion during the Sea Lion Show at 10:30.

Come back to the Shelter for 11:30-1:30 lunch with Lloyd Taco Trucks and meet friends that stop by to visit. Anyone who stops by can also meet adoptable animals!

Drive out to Jaguar Land Rover Buffalo on Lloyd's Taco Truck for a ride in a Jaguar Convertible.

Visit our friends at Oh Sugar at 6pm for the unveiling of a cookie called The Lloyd. It's a peanut butter and honey heart shaped cookie- peanut butter because Lloyd loves peanut butter and honey because he's as sweet as honey. Cookies will be for sale at the Shelter and at Oh Sugar from now until the end of Summer. All proceeds will be donated to the Niagara SPCA.
