Power Tank makes high-performance CO2 air systems and accessories for off-road, construction, towing, motorhomes, and motorsports.
Using CO2 or nitrogen, Power Tank offers a wide range of air products to inflate tires and shocks, run air tools, and operate pneumatic devices like air lockers and shifters. We also offer a whole line of tire inflators, mounting brackets, hoses, and tire plug kits.

This is the Larry's Hotdog method of tire/wheel repair. Named by and , the wheel was smashed so hard that even the barrel flat spotted.
With every hammer at their disposal, they were able to bend the rim back but couldn't seal the bead. While not a typical use of our Pro Series Tire Repair Kit, they made it work. After some creative cutting and shaping of a tire plug, they were able to fill the small gap and make it back to camp and then a tire store.
I'm amazed at our customers' stories. They say necessity is the mother of invention but having the right tools at the right time makes those ideas come by much more easily. This is the Larry's Hotdog method of tire/wheel repair.

The team uses our Pro-Series Sidearm Regulators, modified to support smaller gauges for packaging, push-in air fittings for simplicity, and smaller bottles for lightness! They even 3D printed their own adjustment k***s to replace the machined k***s to save space.
I love that the future of the automotive industry will be led by racers of all backgrounds! It's so cool to see what once was considered "future tech" like carbon fiber monocoques and 3D printing in the hands of students.

There were two sweeeet 1st Gens near the booth but Jr Mint is definitely the favorite!

When you can air up your tires in under 20 seconds, you no longer have to ask yourself if it's worth airing down for a trail. The answer is always yes.
A fifteen pound Power Tanks can air this 34" tire up from 15 to 30 psi, 30 times.
The only air system that will outlive the vehicle it's mounted to (yes, even your land Cruiser).

We are a family! This company wouldn't be where it is without the use of these two welders.
The 110 on the left has been going strong for over 20 years and is what built his first tradeshow trailer with. Over the years, they've been used to build our rigs, to fab tradeshow displays, and install storage in our new trailers.
Can't wait to show off our new displays at pnw!
Metal fab is tough but it goes a lot smoother with the right tools.

Like many great companies, we started in a garage in a small town
Steve had been introduced to rock crawling back in the 90s by his brother. His first wheeling trip in his 4runner was a blast. He had aired down for more traction to get through the trail but when he got off, there was no way to air back up. So the group drove down the road until they got to a gas station with air. By that time his brand new tires were already cupped. Such was life in the early days. Your only other option was a tiny 12v compressor that plugged into your cigarette lighter. They were slow, expensive, and prone to breaking.
Steve knew there had to be a solution to this problem With two brothers in refrigeration, he was introduced to CO2 as an air source. After some research, he pieced together a CO2 bottle and regulator and the first Power Tank was born. He took out an ad in a magazine and started building and selling these systems out of his garage after work. Back then, no one had heard of using CO2 on the trail nor could they believe how many tires a single tank could inflate or how well it ran air tools. But seeing is believing and not long after, he was selling enough to leave his day job to run Power Tank full time at a new shop in Lodi, CA.
The Power Tank has seen numerous performance and cosmetic improvements over the years and the system has expanded to include accessories like multiple brackets and mounting options, hand-built HD tire inflators, nitrogen shock tuning systems, propane brackets, and more.
Power Tank is still headquartered in Lodi but has expanded into their third warehouse where products are still being built by hand with top tier engineering, fabrication, design, and customer service. There have been many imitators and copy cats over the years but there is only one Power Tank.
