A super fun bunch of middle schoolers from the Columbus City School District took a tour, played music, and had ice cream with us today. It was a blast! Can't wait to do it again tomorrow with the high schoolers!

CANDY CASES GLASS0LINED AT MURPHY’S

Candy, a G.C. Murphy Co., specialty, will be displayed in the most modern of cases in the company’s store at 4 E. Main St.

These cases are glass-lined and glass-covered; thus, the candy is clearly visible for inspection without exposure to handling.

Murphy candy purchased by an experienced staff headed by E.M. Davis, a veteran buyer, is shipped direct from the manufacturers to insure freshness.

Mr. Davis explains; “We have stocked our Logan store with only first quality candy in conformance with a company policy that has made candy one of Murphy's top sales lines.”

“Our staff maintains a constant inspection of the factories which supply is. We buy only from established manufacturers who can meet our high standards of quality and cleanliness. We never deal with unknown firms.”

“Special facilities,” Mr. Davis said, “are used by Murphy’s in storing candy inventories in the company’s store. With these facilities, the candy is kept separated from other merchandise and guarded against changing weather conditions.
