A message from SNHHBRA President, Ray Tweedie about the upcoming Summer Cruise on Wednesday, August 7 :
ICYMI, SB 373: Bill to fix the ACH Test has now been signed by Governor Sununu.
SB 373, was made to change the air exchange rate (ACH) from 3 ACH to 5 for new homes and remodels over 50% of the home's value. This was a needed change, as we know the lower rate has been causing health problems for our customers and structural issues for our homes. This bill will take effect immediately and is now state law.
HB 1059, which will prevent the adoption of the 2021 Energy Codes, a Green Energy Tax disguised as a code update, still sits on the Governor's desk!!
We need your help to continue this fight as we know it will continue to remain an issue year after year. The radical environmentalists and tax-and-spend politicians have put a target on our backs just because we want to keep the energy codes as they were intended, a way to keep people safe. We humbly ask for a donation to NH BUILD PAC so we can continue this fight through election season and help elect pro-business and pro-builder candidates to office.
We would also like to remind you that every penny that goes into and out of NH BUILD PAC STAYS IN NH. We will NEVER send your precious contributions to DC. Every contribution matters no matter the size, and we hope that you will help us get through the battles ahead. Contribute at:
