Balance isn’t just about standing still. It’s about finding harmony in movement, in stillness, in every breath we take.
In a world that constantly pulls us in different directions, it’s easy to lose our sense of equilibrium.
Thankfully balance is something we can cultivate through mindful practices by listening to our bodies, by tuning into our breath, and by allowing ourselves to be present in the moment.
At Human Aeon, we believe that true wellness comes from this state of balance- between effort and ease, activity and rest, mind and body.
Our sessions are designed to guide you towards this harmony, helping you connect with your inner self and navigate life with greater clarity and purpose.
Are you ready to find your balance?
Join us for a session and start your journey to a more centered, grounded you.

Unlock your athletic potential with the power of breathwork and ice baths! Book a 90-minute session at Human Aeon and get a guided course through breathwork, meditation, ice baths, saunas, and more.
These practices aren’t just for mental resilience—they’re proven to boost performance, aid recovery, and enhance overall well-being.
Breathwork improves oxygen delivery, sharpens focus, and reduces stress, leading to better endurance and faster recovery. Studies show that breathwork can also enhance white blood cell activity, boosting your immune system and helping your body fight off infections. A study from the Journal of Exercise Rehabilitation highlights how proper breathing techniques can reduce cortisol levels and support endurance.
Pair this with the benefits of ice baths, which reduce inflammation, accelerate muscle recovery, and enhance circulation. Cold water immersion has been shown to increase norepinephrine levels by 200-300%, leading to improved mood and energy levels. It also boosts dopamine levels by over 250%, with these elevated levels remaining high for hours afterward, providing sustained benefits to both mood and focus. Research in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research confirms that cold water immersion can speed up recovery after intense exercise.

The Healing Power of Movement
Movement isn’t just about fitness—it’s a powerful tool for healing and releasing stored trauma. At Human Aeon, movement is one of our core pillars, integral to our holistic approach to well-being. When we move, we engage our fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds and supports our muscles and organs. Trauma can get trapped in this tissue, leading to physical and emotional discomfort.
Regular movement helps to:
Release Stored Tension:** Stretching and gentle movements can help release built-up tension in the fascia, promoting overall relaxation.
*Improve Circulation: Movement increases blood flow, delivering essential nutrients and oxygen to the tissues, aiding in healing and recovery.
**Enhance Flexibility: Regular movement keeps the fascia flexible, reducing stiffness and improving range of motion.
Boost Emotional Well-being: Releasing physical tension can also help release emotional stress, leading to a greater sense of well-being.
At Human Aeon, we incorporate mindful movement practices to help you unlock these benefits. Join us for a session and experience the transformative power of movement. Book your session now through the link in our bio!

When we meditate, our brain shifts from high-alert waves to slower, relaxed ones linked to calm and focus.
Here’s what happens:
1. Brain Waves:From stress-related beta waves to relaxed alpha and theta waves.
2. This Neural Connectivity:Stronger connections between decision-making and emotional regions.
3. Structural Changes: Increased gray matter in learning areas, reduced size of the stress-related amygdala.
4. Neurotransmitters:Boosts serotonin & dopamine (happiness) and lowers cortisol (stress).
5. Mindfulness: Less mind-wandering, more present-moment awareness.
Meditation reshapes your brain for better focus, calm, and emotional balance.

Saunas offer numerous health benefits, such as enhancing blood flow, relaxing muscles, and improving skin health. The true benefits often begin as you start to sweat.
The recommended time for a sauna session varies based on your health, hydration, and experience. Generally, 15 to 20 minutes is sufficient. The Finnish, from whom the word “sauna” originates, offer a simpler approach: leave the sauna when you feel adequately heated.
Always ensure you stay hydrated before, during, and after your session. While electrolyte drinks can help, you can also replenish with electrolyte-rich foods like bananas, avocados, watermelon, spinach, and greens. Frequent visits to the sauna amplify these benefits.

At Human Aeon, our holistic approach to wellness focuses on practices that can alleviate symptoms associated with autoimmune disorders. Here’s how our methods can help:
1 Breathwork: Controlled breathing techniques can reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and promote relaxation. By lowering stress levels, we can help mitigate the impact of stress-related flare-ups often experienced by individuals with autoimmune conditions.
2 Meditation: Mindfulness meditation has been shown to decrease inflammation in the body and improve immune function. By incorporating meditation into our sessions, we aim to support the body’s natural healing processes and reduce the severity of autoimmune symptoms.
3 Contrast Therapy: Alternating between hot and cold therapies, such as saunas and cold plunges, can boost circulation, reduce inflammation, and enhance immune function. These effects may help alleviate pain and discomfort associated with autoimmune conditions.
4 Movement: Gentle movement practices, tailored to individual needs, can improve flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and enhance overall well-being. Physical activity releases endorphins, which can alleviate pain and improve mood, offering relief from autoimmune symptoms.
5 Mindset Psychology: Our sessions incorporate mindset psychology techniques to promote a positive outlook and empower individuals to manage their health effectively. A resilient mindset can help individuals cope with the challenges of living with an autoimmune disorder and promote overall well-being.
By integrating these practices into our sessions, we aim to provide comprehensive support for individuals living with autoimmune disorders, helping them lead fuller, healthier lives.

Nasal breathing versus mouth breathing: Implications for Oxygen Exchange and Respiratory Health
Nasal breathing facilitates efficient oxygen exchange through the production of nitric oxide (NO), a vasodilator that widens blood vessels, thus enhancing oxygen circulation in the body.
Moreover, the nasal passages serve as a filtration and humidification system, with tiny hairs and mucus-producing cells trapping and filtering out airborne particles like dust, allergens, and microbes. Additionally, the turbinates within the nasal cavity warm incoming air to body temperature and add moisture rapidly.
Furthermore, nasal breathing promotes improved lung function by regulating airflow, allowing for sufficient time for optimal oxygen exchange. This controlled airflow facilitates vital physiological processes essential for optimal oxygen absorption.
In addition to its physiological benefits, nasal breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation, rest, and digestion, as opposed to the sympathetic nervous system responsible for stress responses such as fight or flight.
Conversely, chronic mouth breathing can exacerbate respiratory issues and increase susceptibility to infections. Dry and cold air entering through the mouth may irritate airways, leading to respiratory infections. Additionally, mouth breathing is associated with sleep disorders, dry mouth, facial deformities, and daytime fatigue. Mouth breathing should be reserved for specific breathwork techniques and hard exercise/movement practice (even then you should still try to nose breath).
For a comprehensive exploration of nasal breathing, refer to James Nestor’s book, “Breath: A New Science of a Lost Art.”

“Swimming in cold water can significantly reduce symptoms of the menopause such as mood swings and hot flushes, a study has found.
Spending time immersed in cold water appears to confer a range of physical and mental health benefits for menopausal women, with some likening it to “healing”, the researchers said.
The study, led by academics at University College London, examined responses from 1,114 women aged between 16 and 80, with an average age of 49, who regularly swim in cold water. Among the study group, 785 women were going through the menopause at the time.
Half of that group said cold-water swimming significantly reduced their anxiety, while large minorities said it also helped tackle mood swings (35%), low mood (31%) and hot flushes (30%). And more than six in 10 (63%) said they swam specifically to address menopausal symptoms.“

With simple breathing practices you can reset your blood chemistry, hormones and autonomic nervous system.
The way you breath is the way you live. Observe your breath right now in this moment. Are you breathing from your diaphragm? Your nostrils? Is it slow? Is it rapid? There are so many variables to the way we breath…and every breath has a corresponding heart rate, mindset, and state of consciousness. Anxiety has a corresponding breathing pattern. So do flow states. And everything in between…
For thousands of years humans around the world have practiced breathing techniques for overall health, wellness and spiritual inspiration.
At we have a room dedicated to meditation and breathing practices. Our trained instructors can show you the four fundamental breathing styles and when to use them.
❄️ We can learn to use the breath to withstand and thrive in freezing cold temperatures.
