🤎 Welcome back, Rec Students!! We hope your first couple of days back at The Beach are going smoothly! Our first general meeting of the semester is this Thursday, August 29th @3:30pm in SSPA 010-B, where we’ll be discussing new cabinet members, Week of Welcome, Rec Fest, and our first social event!! The meeting will be made available on zoom as well. For directions to our room, check out the pinned video on our page :) We’ll see you there!

🤎 Our last general meeting of the semester will be tomorrow, May 9th @3:30pm in SSPA 010-B and through Zoom by scanning the QR code or clicking the link in our bio!!! Hey y’all, since we’re back with a fresh semester time to meet new friends! This is Briana, our club secretary and a recreation therapy major. She loves singing, crafting, and is a fun person to be around. We all look forward to working with you again this semester!

Rec society members kicked off the holiday season early this year by making cards for a local senior community! Thank you joining us!!

Time to introduce you to our friend Alex! He didn’t mention it in his bio but I heard he’s also excellent at bowling 👀👀

Our next meeting will be November 15th at the USU room 203 at 4:30pm.

With the holidays right around the corner, the rec society needs your help making cards for local senior citizens.

Thank you to all of the students and faculty that volunteered at the American Gold Star Manor community event this past Friday!

Our students helped run various stations at the event including virtual reality, yoga, pickle ball, cooking, and arts & crafts!

CSULB Recreation students have been hard at work this past summer providing enrichment opportunities for the American Gold Star Manor senior community!

Upcoming events include a “Desert Golden Hour” painting class on 8/19 and a Special Event featuring a cooking class, arts and crafts, pickle ball, virtual reality, and more on 8/26/22!
