This song is very near to my heart as I wrote it during a time that I was grappling with the feeling of no longer wanting to be here. It came through as a message to myself and others to persevere and not give up on life and love when times become hard, and to stay committed to the vision of birthing a world filled with love & unity. It is also a nod towards the late Wayne Dyer’s quote “Don’t die with the music still in you,” which is not only referring to the traditional concept of music, but also the authentic expression of each person’s soul.

Today as an early birthday present to myself I had this really magical massage/psychic reading/energy work session and have felt pretty amazing the rest of the day. 😻 Really reminded myself how important self care is right now. Over the past few years I have been working hard to align with and embody the woman that I want to show up as in the world. As a mother, an artist, and a space holder for others, for my family, friends, and community. It feels amazing to see the seeds that I’ve been planting begin to grow, and it’s also felt hard at times to move through what I need to let go of to reach new heights.
I’ve been learning that I am stronger than my younger self ever would have imagined, while at the same time learning to humbly recognize my humanness and what my boundaries and limitations are. I’ve also been remembering the beauty of asking for help and allowing myself to be supported by my community. Balance, patience, and commitment feel like the primary lessons I’m learning lately.
Grateful to be alive at this time and continuing to expand into a life of service through music, Transpersonal therapy, and presence. Our authenticity and love are so needed on the planet at this time. 🍃✨🙏
