For the fall season, we’re bringin’ a new edition of our banana pinipig muffins. Here we have… Pumpkin-ipig 🎃.

Enjoy our take on pumpkin muffins- with some Filipino influence. You can catch them for this Fall at !! Along with coffee cakes every now and then.

Pickups from our END OF SUMMER sale are available for pickup now until 4pm today, and all day until 4pm tomorrow. Head to to get your order! Also dropped off extra banana-pinipig muffins as well 😋☀️🏖️

We also raised $52 for !! Woohoo!! Will release a whooole other post on our contribution, thank you all for ordering this month.

END OF SUMMER SALE 🏖️☀️! As August begins to close, we wanted to do a sale celebrating summer! We’ll be selling pandesal, coffee cake, cookies, and banana muffins! And who knows, maybe we’ll drop some cinnarolls to the menu later this week 👀

Today marks the first year of doing pop-ups for Café DOCHI! Despite establishing the brand in 2021, we took a leap forward into doing markets, events, and more. And what a journey it has been 🐾. From rebranding, cultivating more complex recipes, and growing as a business; with all of you!

I’ve met so many wonderful people and had so many people tried the treats I made from the heart, and that all happened within a year 😱. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for Café DOCHI, and we hope that you all continue to watch us grow as we love watching you all grow as well. See ya! 💕💕💕

Our July read consisted of “Lies and Wedding” by Kevin Kwan. Full of twists, turns, judgement, and generational trauma. 🦚🌋 Complimented with some “mais con yelo” inspired cake, baked my (me , haha)

Next book club is August 21st, 6pm, same place ()! Where we read “Almond” by Sohn Won-pyung. See ya!

Made an ube macapuno cake with ‘s sweet ube halaya! A traditional sponge cake, soaked with ube syrup, put together by a subtly-sweet chantilly cream and filled with ube halaya. 🍰

I am personally not someone who’s forté is in cakes, however I needed to make one as it called for a celebration! When I was young, all I’d order was ube macapuno cakes; it came full circle when I finally made my own. Celebration-wise, I wanted to make a cake as these past few weeks, we hit 500 followers! It may be a small feat, but to me it is such an amazing accomplishment. Thank you to everyone who’s constantly supporting me through my journey, I love y’all 🫶💕💗💓

Recent test batches of our new ube donut 🍩 . Inspired by a recent book that I have read, and also a bit of sweet cravings. We also sold it at our recent market, and it was definitely a Hit! Still in it’s working stages but we cannot wait to serve it to all of you 💕.

Happy father’s day to all the tatay’s, tito’s, ninong’s, and more!! Most of all, happy tatay day to Tatay Dochi. Helper of lifting all the heavy things when I load in my car for pop-ups and when I have to pick up supplies; and most of all, for lifting me up whenever I’m down or low-spirit.

Today marks the day the Philippines had gained independence. Free from those who had colonized us for centuries. Despite current political climates that still are present within our Philippine government, we celebrate this feat as our ancestors before us have paved the way to give us the opportunities and freedoms that we have today.

During my time in the Philippines earlier this year, I have learned what community feels like, where despite where you have come from, what you have, and who you are; you are still welcomed with open arms and warmth. The picture above was a moment during the trip, where kids and their families come down to the river and play with one another to cool off. While those resting under the kubo connected and chatted. Community was built by those who fought for our freedom in the Philippines, and us today will continue the legacy that our family has always fought for.
