❓The Pro Tem & Caught Red Handed🔖
This week for showcase, Theatre Threshold premieres another show titled "Wayne's Works" with two stories titled The Pro Tem & Caught Red Handed. "Wayne's Works" is a piece written by Robert Allsop and directed by Jorge Aldaco. This show explores two different stories. The Pro Tem is a scene about a high-flying detective who delays her journey to an award ceremony in her honor, to quickly tie up a loose end. All she must do is squeeze a minor piece of information from a street ju**ie, who is behind the supply of a batch of tainted drugs. Caught Red Handed is a scene about a couple's relationship that seems to be on the verge of collapse after an envelope is delivered anonymously, the contents of which appear to capture images of the man engaged in an illicit relationship. However, as the story quickly unfolds, it becomes evident that all is not what it seems as lie upon lie is exposed, it is revealed that a deadly game of deceit and espionage is afoot.
