As a child, she was fascinated with the paintings done by her grandfather and immediately knew she was destined to create art. As she grew, she found make-up to be the most rewarding because of it's ability to enhance and completely transform a person. She attended Make-up Designory for her education in Fashion Make-up Artistry to perfect and refine her craft. With a focus on high fashion, bridal,

So honored to be a part of this day!
The beautiful Shevon, who is normally not much of a makeup wearer, wanted to have a look that went with her stunning gown (that even glittered with gold!)
We ended up doing a 2 previews because ultimately wasn’t sure of the hairstyle that she wanted. We first did a half up, then a party pony, and then we decided that her dress needed a bit more of a glamorous moment, so we went for the glorious waves. One variation that I had not done prior this and absolutely LOVE, is the way the side was pulled back and pinned vs slicking it behind the ear.
The icing on the cake was my text from her the following day. My job is the most fulfilling when I get these messages. I always aim to make everyone feel their most confident and beautiful!

Love me a flirty, effortless, messy bun 🫶🏼
From the garden to the coast, we had so much fun today with this styled shoot!
It was fun creating a more editorial style bridal shoot, a bit more edgy posing and a fun 90’s inspired high bun.
I know that I’ll probably never get anyone requesting this sort of updo for their big day, but I’m secretly hoping someone does!

Happy 1 year Anniversary Ale and Julian! Cheers 🥂 to many more years!! 🤍
Not sure why I waited a whole year to post these because obsessed with how her hair and makeup turned out!
Still not over this hair for Erica, can you believe all of it was her own?!?
Also love the tucked, loose waves for sister!

The beautiful Madison reached out to me in search of very natural makeup and concerns of looking overdone on her wedding day.
I always make sure to ask thorough questions about what my clients are comfortable with and have recently implemented an even more detail questionnaire to help me understand the unique individual preferences of each of my clients.
We ended up doing a preview session for both her and her mama, to really nail down the look. A week later we did another session for her engagement photoshoot, then finally the big day came around and her makeup looks flawless. Even with not a ton of makeup, you can still look stunning in photos.

Finally getting around to sharing some of my faves from this wedding back in August last year. I’m always a fan of the San Juan Capistrano Mission for a first look or bridal portraits. Valerie is radiating 🤩!
I will never get tired of doing this timeless & clean, soft waves look for my brides, and when coupled with a glowy and natural, but elevated makeup look, it’s *chefs kiss*

Middle part/tucked glam waves and makeup for my beautiful client and owner of ! This was for her son’s bar mitzvah, but easily one of my most requested bridal styles!

The gorgeous Ryann!
I had fun doing a more glam look for a change. I mean, that smoked out shadow was honestly giving and looked so good on her!
She got ready at her AirBnB which I ALWAYS recommend over a hotel because SO MUCH SPACE and the light in there was *chefs kiss*

Looking back at 2023, it was a very different year for me. My first year as a mom and my business definitely took a back seat.
I didn’t break any booking records. I didn’t meet any new goals. My social media posting schedule suffered big time. I wouldn’t call my year a “success,” and for me (someone that is self-proclaimed “workaholic”)…that was a tough pill to swallow.
But would I change anything? Not at all. I was so happy I had the free time to spend with my little dude. Time I would never get back if I was working. Something that not all moms get to say they do. I worked enough to keep a roof over our head and food in our bellies, I’m just grateful for that.
Next year I’m trying to work a bit more on that balance, trying to be more present in my business while still spending as much time as possible with my boy.
Any tips on how to balance that life from other small biz owner moms would be much appreciated!

A pretty chic and simple hairstyle for the MOH. This was for a wedding in Cabo and we went with an updo to ensure her hair would survive the humidity.
One of my most requested hairstyles is glam waves with a middle part and sleek sides.
Here are some tips if you are thinking of this style:
🤍For all down styles, I almost always recommend extensions for fullness and a bit of length.
🤍THE DRESS: You want to make sure that your dress doesn’t have any beading near the top that might get caught and make your hair a tangled mess.
🤍 Your face framing pieces should be long enough to be able to be secured in an elastic
in order to get the best results for sleek sides.
🤍 Your Haircut: This style works best with none to minimal layers, and best with a haircut that is straight across and not a “v” shape (though this can be fixed with extensions.)

CHIC & LOW PONYTAILS for the bridal party and GLAM WAVES for the bride.
Generally when everyone has different lengths and textures, it’s best to have everyone choose their hairstyle, but this right here looks so good and cohesive!
Did your bridal party have the same hairstyle or did you let them choose and why?

Had my last bride of 2022 yesterday! What a year! So grateful for all of my brides, brides-to-be and loyal clients this year.
Wishing you all a wonderful New Year of health, joy, and success!
Hair and makeup preview from today!
We did a little experiment on her eyes to see what side she liked more. Sometimes it’s hard to tell in person, but a photo will tell you. On her left eye she doesn’t have any liner in her waterline (right side of photo), just smudged shadow under the lashline. On her right side, we did a bit of a n**e pencil in her waterline. You can see how, in this case, it made that eye look bigger which we decided suits her better.
Do you see the difference?
Loved this dreamy hairstyle I create for exactly one week ago! 💕
Let’s Chat about Bridal Party Hair Prep!
1. Hair needs to be SQUEAKY CLEAN. This means, if you have particularly thick hair and are used to using a sulfate-free shampoo, just make sure to cleanse extra well, sometimes twice! Make sure there are no residual oils left (usually find this near the back of the head.) If your hair is prone to frizz and dry, I will approve a small amount of a leave-in product.
2. Hair needs to be COMPLETELY DRY. Unless you have paid for a blowout add-on of course 🙂 Make sure no moisture is left in your hair. Coming to your appt time with even slightly damp hair will cause a back-up in the schedule. It’s a big no-no!
3. Make sure your party has their inspo out and ready to go when they sit down in the chair to reduce any time being wasted searching for photos.
4. Regarding inspo, make sure that your inspo photos align with my aesthetic and realistic for your hair type. Also, keep in mind, the Bride is the only one with her chosen style.
5. Does anyone in your bridal party want to add extensions? Please make sure to let me know ahead of time. This is an additional cost to be added as well as it takes a bit more time. We need to make time on the schedule accordingly.
Hope that helps!

This weekend came and went and I’m happy to report that everyone’s prayers and well wishes kept the rain away on Sat! I’m not sure how because it poured on Fri night and Sun for most of the afternoon.
Also with the wedding came the surprise announcement of our pregnancy! I’m due in March, so I will be reaching out to a few of you with dates booked close to that with a plan of action.
Next year is going to look very different for me. I will no longer be taking bookings outside of 2hrs of travel from Long Beach so I can be close to my infant.
I’m going to miss my travels to the Bay Area and Yosemite, but I vow to be back to taking destination weddings in 2024 because ya girl can’t stay away from her adventures for too long!
