So at 1:54 am today (Weds) the jerk in this truck pulled in to the Bixby Joe parking lot and an accomplice got out and broke the window on Soo’s SUV. The alarm went off three minutes later... they ran. She parked overnight... chalk it up to bad luck, right?

This morning between 9:00 and 11:00, only a few hours later,her other car was parked behind the shop and SAME THING happened.

Not a coincidence.

Bixby Joe is open late.... ‘til 9:00 pm

Resuming normal hours starting today.

Well, none of us have it...so far.

We have put tape on the floors to keep you six feet apart; looks a little ghetto but functional. We have no hand sanitizer because everyone is hoarding it but we have done the same with handwashing soap... so lots of clean hands! The good news is apparently no one wants to hoard the big rolls of industrial TP so we are good there, too.

We are like others open for take-out. Many of our regulars have been great about helping us to stay afloat... and we appreciate this.

We are selling limited edition coronavirus T-shirts...suitable for wearing or drying your car, as the carwashes are all closed. Makes a great Christmas gift.

We trust this thing will be gone soon and hope everyone will be able to get past viewing each other as one great big traveling germ machine.

It may take some time.
