Looking for a relaxing gateway? ✨ at offers a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas strip. RDC collaborated with the client to integrate functional components with relaxing aesthetics into the 2,090-square-foot space, creating a welcoming and peaceful oasis in the heart of Las Vegas. The design incorporates natural materials like wood, stone, rammed earth plaster, and plants to create a warm and calming environment.

Exciting news: Confluence at Valencia, a community lounge with stunning mountain views, has been shortlisted for the .mag awards!

At the heart of the 4,000-home Confluence Park master-planned community, the "Community Lounge" is a standout feature designed by RDC’s Interior Design and Procurement Studios. The team focused on creating an experience that reflects the 21st-century net-zero community’s sustainability goals and commitment to environmental consciousness. They designed a space offering comfort and respite for casual visits and special events, all while framing breathtaking mountain views and honoring the local area's natural beauty. The design also extends to the triple pool complex and community garden, enhancing the overall community experience.

Glendale is making headlines as a standout project that's transforming the San Fernando Valley! RDC is proud to be working with Erewhon in turning the former Virgil’s Hardware Home Center into an upscale grocery and dining space. Erewhon will occupy 18,000 square feet and the remaining 6,000 square feet will be leased to other tenants. Stay tuned for more updates on this amazing transformation! 🛒🍽️

An emerging trend in dispensary design is the concept of adaptive reuse – repurposing existing structures for cannabis retail spaces like our project Hold up Rollup. This approach not only capitalizes on the distinctive architectural elements of the original buildings, but also revitalizes and reimagines vacant properties. 🏅 Step into victory at ! The store’s design is inspired by the grandeur of the Olympic spirit and the various athletes and influencers that walk through its doors. Integrated lighting at the entry and throughout the interior highlights a path, just like the torch lighting the way to triumph. The ornate, fluted details of Corinthian columns are echoed in the textured materials and furniture, through pedestals and tiered displays. The displays rest on a rubber rug, designed to mimic the sleek and dynamic lines of a racetrack. Arch gates welcome you into an arena where luxury and craftsmanship unite, with every detail thoughtfully designed to elevate the guest experience.

Championing its audience as the hero, the brand is approachable and accessible, welcoming the guest with an open and inviting atmosphere. Driven by a compelling duality – heritage and innovation, craft and style, work and play – the visual language of the store emphasizes these qualities through union, balance and juxtaposition of elements. At the core of its purpose, the store is specialized to outfit and equip its patrons, both through apparel and inspiration – to challenge tradition and surpass the expectations of the modern world.

RDC is the master planner, architect, and landscape architect for Shazhou Yellow Wine Cultural Center situated in Zhangjiagang along the scenic Yangtze River, an hour and a half away from the bustling metropolis of Shanghai. This transformative project celebrates and teaches visitors about the rich cultural heritage of yellow wine, a Chinese alcoholic beverage made from rice.

Our design ethos envisions an industrial tourism destination that seamlessly integrates with existing production facilities while becoming an iconic landmark for Zhangjiagang. Drawing inspiration from Jiangnan architectural elements and modern Chinese abstractions, the project’s entrance pavilion serves as a beacon of the region’s bright future rooted in centuries of tradition.

RDC and collaborated to create an immersive and curated environment for the brand's location in Thousand Oaks, with an open layout with distinct zones for various luxury furniture collections. The design of the showroom is a seamless blend of modern elegance and timeless sophistication, reflecting the rich history and vision of this Parisian brand. The strategic lighting design, including a mix of natural light from the large storefront windows and carefully placed ambient and accent lighting, highlights each piece of furniture. The incorporation of timeless materials, such as the wood-like slats in the space, and a color palette of neutral tones ensure that furniture remains the focal point while creating a warm and inviting environment.

RDC is pleased to name Elise Kunihiro as an Associate of the firm. 🎉As a Senior Job Captain, Elise has been a key player on the Retail Grocery & Market workgroup over the past eight years. She has been involved with the Kroger account and is currently a primary team member with the Erewhon and Bristol Farms accounts. Elise leads the way with dedication, a strong work ethic, and a drive to continuously improve workflow and efficiency, engages in unusually complex and technical projects, and has developed strong client relationships.

Her work includes two award winning projects – ICSC Global Design and Development Silver Award for Erewhon Silver Lake and a Gold Nugget Merit award for 475 S. Lake Avenue. She also participates in marketing efforts including co-authoring a recently published article in the ULI Magazine about 475 S. Lake Avenue, the former I. Magnin building in Pasadena, where RDC served as architect for the historic renovation and adaptive reuse, transforming the long-vacated site into a mixed-use destination housing Erewhon, Tia and Brella.

RDC provided architecture, branding, and interior design services, collaborating with to create the brand’s New York City flagship store 🗽. Already known for comfortable, athletic wear-inspired dress shoes, sold in Nordstrom and through the brand’s website, Wolf and Shepherd secured a desirable retail space at 500 Madison Ave for their first brick-and-mortar location.

RDC’s solution encapsulates Wolf and Shepherd’s aesthetic, using elegant plaster walls, custom millwork and lighting, and bespoke shoe displays to bring to life the Wolf and Shepherd sensibility. RDC’s full-service provided continuity from concept to opening day.

The adaptation of Campus at Horton redefines this once-heralded urban mall with 1,000,000 sf of tech-focused office space, retaining 300,000 sf for retail and entertainment. The new design considers ideologies of the modern workspace, which include generous amenities, flexible spaces, large floor plates, and ample landscaped, public walkways that connect the site to the city around it, repairing the urban fabric. The planning calls for ample, convenient on-site parking, covered spaces, and valet services for tenants and guests.

Thank you to our awesome volunteers who showed up to paint, hammer, lift, and build a four-plex with in south Los Angeles! We painted walls, hung drywall, inspected foundations, reviewed blueprints, and made new friendships, all while doing something amazing for the community. Since 1990, Habitat LA has built over 1,300 homes for families across the county. has invested over $100 million in helping families, revitalizing neighborhoods, and creating more access to affordable housing.

The luxury wing expansion at Scottsdale Fashion Square now features a stunning multi-story fitness building, that is now home to Lifetime Fitness. Designed by RDC, this architectural jewel box boasts a rooftop pool deck, weight rooms, yoga and exercise studios, and co-working spaces. Inspired by the surrounding mountains and desert landscape, the building showcases a refined palette of materials like weathered steel, fluted glass, and textured pre-cast concrete. With extensive glazing, fitness enthusiasts can enjoy breathtaking views while they work out.

The NW Arkansas office, situated in a region heavily impacted by severe storms over the past weekend, is currently undergoing recovery efforts and property damage repairs. As the community navigates through these challenges, our firm has extended support by making donations to two organizations aiding in the area's recovery: Rogers Public Schools Disaster Relief and Convoy of Hope. Our heartfelt thoughts are with NW Arkansas during this time.
