WAIT as long as possible for social media- ideally until 16 YEARS old- but if you don’t- talk about all of these risks with your teen and SET A TIME LIMIT on their phone and TURN OFF NOTIFICATIONS (yes you can do this!)
This is your child’s brain development and mental health- be strong parents! We are with you!

Fill their cup each day ❤️

Kids keep it all together during the school day full of expectations and new stressors, so when they get home…they often meltdown emotionally for their parents- where they feel safe.
Give them extra love these early school days- they are working so hard.

Kids are paying attention….so it’s always best to be honest about changes in your lives, but keep it short and sweet. Make sure they know nothing is their fault. ❤️

Kids asking for money every day?! 🤑💰Pay them for something they can do that saves you time (and maybe money but doubtful 😂) Win win! 🎉

Love the message here….there are so many great ways to get a higher education. We don’t have to put pressure on our teens to go to a big name 4 year university right out of high school. It works for some, but not for many 🫶🏻

Why I Recommend Community College to High School Graduates I wanted more for my daughter than a community college, but it turned out to be the best experience for her.
