More photos from our trip to the Whitney Plantation. They include several of a commemoration of the 1811 rebellion by enslaved people in the vicinity of this plantation. The rebellion is proof of the desire of enslaved people to be free. The court ordered the heads of the executed rebel leaders be displayed to inspire fear in enslaved people.

Phi Alpha Theta members enjoyed a chilly trip to the Whitney Plantation with former chapter president, Chelsea Clement. She organized a trip to the Whitney in 2019.

Let's congratulate Phi Alpha Theta member, Micah Lynn, for winning the Donald Drapeau Prize for Excellence in a Research Presentation at the 2023 Undergraduate Symposium. Well done, Micah!
