My senior year.. and everything is completely cancelled the rest of the school year. It is unsure right now if us seniors are still going to walk. I’ve been so bummed out, I was looking so forward to all the senior traditions. If I have any advice for lower classmen, it is this.... please soak up each and every memory made throughout your high school years. Come your senior year, it’s gonna be a bitter sweet thing. It’s exciting because you’re finally gonna be done with school and beginning a new chapter in life. But it’ll be a bit sad because you’re gonna realize you might actually miss that chapter of life and you’re gonna want to make the most of the rest of your senior year. I feel so many emotions right now because there’s so many lasts of things I did without knowing it and I wish I would’ve taken it all in... if only I had known a pandemic was gonna hit and take everything away.

So I had vaccinated my horses this past Friday. Every now and then, Chill has reactions to her shots. I’ve always used the same vaccines and given them in the same spots, but it’s only sometimes that it happens... and it only happens to Chill, never Summer.

Well, Chill had a reaction this time... and it was one of the worsts she’s ever had. I was really worried because we have Wahset practice tonight and leave for our first Wahset meet this week. The day after the shots (Saturday), Chill could not move her neck at all, it was too painful to. It was so sad to see her like that😢

But good news!!! After doing a lot of stretching and giving her some medicine last night and this morning, she has regained most of the movement in her neck! It felt really good to see her acting her normal sassy self today as I let her out to the pasture🥰

We are going to take it really easy at practice tonight, and I’ll continue stretching her and preparing her for our big Wahset meet!!💛💙

-Oldest Horse? Chill will be turning 22 sometime this year

-Youngest horse? Summer is around 13, probably turning 14 this year

-Shyest Horse? Chill, she’s hardly scared of anything but she doesn’t like groups of people as much as Summer

-Friendliest horse? Chill

-Dirtiest horse? Do I even have to say it.... Chill of course😂 She’s white soooo 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

-Smartest Horse? Hmmm it really depends. Summer is smart in a naughty sassy way but Chill is smart when it comes to things I ask her to do

-Largest horse? Chill. She’s shorter than Summer but is a lot longer and a little more wide

-Smallest horse? Summer

-Who do you use for your non-horsey friends? Definitely Chill!

-Who is your escape artist? Flash! Summer all the way. It’s annoying sometimes 🤦🏼‍♀️

-Who has the most energy? Summer!

-Who is your favorite horse to ride? I have only put a few rides on Summer, I am still training her. So as of right now, Chill!

-Who goes out the most with you? Definitely Chill

-Who is your absolute favorite? I don’t like choosing favorites, but I will say that Chill is my heart horse and I’ve been with her for 8 or more years. So I’ve bonded so deeply with her and she has an extremely special place in my heart, as well as Summer, because they were both Michelle’s💜

After repeated requests for a cookie went unanswered (literally just give me two minutes lady!) Faith spun around and loudly slammed her butt against the stall door so I could not open it. She stood like that facing the corner pouting, only to turn back on occasion for the sole purpose to shoot some serious mare face my way. So, it's freezing outside and here you are inside a heated barn, with a comfy Rambo sheet, fresh shavings and a mound of hay but nope, your human is a cruel heartless jerk to deny you of your immediate demands for a delicious cookie. Honestly, are horses just spoiled 1200 pound teenage girls?

Today we got the most snow we’ve had so far this winter at my house! I let the girls out for about an hour to play in it! They both really enjoyed it and I got some cute videos!

Hello everyone! Welcome to my page! I have dedicated this page to my two horses and every thing I do that involves horses. Feel free to spread the word about my page✨✨✨

A little about myself:

My name is Brooke Myers, and I have been riding since I was 5. I have had horses of my own (pictured below) for about 4 years now. My favorite things to do on horseback are any speed gaming events and trail riding. I am currently involve in a high school equestrian team, known as Wahset. I have a huge passion for horses and teaching young kids about horses and how to ride!

A little about my horses:

On the left is Summer. Summer’s full name is Summer Storm, and she is a grade Quarter/Paint mare. I believe Summer is around 13 years old. I have just begun training her and have now put in a few good rides on her. Summer is the daughter of my other horse!

On the right is Chill. Chill’s full name is Winter Chill, and she is a registered Quarter/Paint mare. She is 21 years old but do not let her age fool you. Chill is still going as strong as ever, still loves to run and do gaming events, and still does great and places in our gameshows. Chill is the mother of Summer!

These horses have a very special place in my heart. I inherited these two from an amazing lady, Michelle Moen, who taught me just about everything I know about horses and riding. Michelle went to be with Jesus in 2015 but she is always in our hearts and I feel she is with me whenever I am with her horses💜
