REOPENING OFFICE ANNOUNCEMENT IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19

Hello Dream Dentistry Family,

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good spirits. We have been working around the clock doing everything we can to safeguard your health. With that said, it may feel a little bit different the next time you visit our office. We want you to feel safe without sacrificing the same warm environment that we have always provided for our patient family. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months. We are all looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. With all of the changes, one thing has remained the same: our office’s commitment to your safety and comfort.

Your Dream Team has always made Infection control a top priority in our practice. We not only follow recommendations and guidelines made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Dr. Lesh excedes these recommendations and guidelines! Dr. Lesh and the Dream Team have spent endless hours researching and purchasing the best of the best to ensure the employees and patients are safe. Health and safety are always our top priority!

We ask that you please be patient, and understand that we will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs as we know many of you are anxious to get back into our office.

During this time, we have implemented additional safety precautions to help protect our patients and staff.

Upon scheduling an appointment, you will be asked a series of questions concerning your exposure to Covid-19. We will postpone treatment for any patient who has experienced or been in contact with someone who has experienced the following symptoms within 14 days of the scheduled appointment date: fever, cough, loss of taste and/or smell, flu-like symptoms, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, and fatigue.

If you are over the age of 65 or have preexisting health conditions (as recommended by CDC) such as diabetes, chronic lung disease or asthma, serious heart conditions, are immunocompromised, or chronic kidney or liver disease, we recommend that you consult with your primary care physician to see if you are healthy enough for dental treatment. Anyone with concerns are asked to request a consultation with Dr. Lesh to determine eligibility of treatment before coming in. If you fall into this category but need to accompany a child or family member for a visit, please call our office as we will handle this request on a case-by-case basis.

We will be scheduling appointments in a manner that promotes social distancing and allows for adequate time for us to disinfect all areas of use in between patient appointments.

Upon arrival at our office, call us before entering the office to let us know you have arrived. We will call or text you once the office is ready for you to enter. Our office will now be set up to enter through the front door and exit through the back door.

We ask that patients enter the office unaccompanied, if possible. For those patients who need assistance a guardian to accompany them, we ask that this be limited to a single family member.

Every person entering the office is required to wear a face covering and will be asked to sanitize their hands immediately upon entry. We will have these available at our front desk for you if you do not have them yourself.

Please take your temperature the morning of your appointment. We will also confirm you don't have a fever during your visit with us.

We are excited to tell you about all the ways we are keeping you safe!

Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, charging stations, children’s toys, and so forth, since these items are difficult to clean and disinfect. We ask the patients avoid the use of our waiting room wherever possible to prevent a conflict with social distancing regulations.

Each room where treatment is performed is equipped with High Evacuation Suction to be used both inside and outside the mouth. This type of suction has been shown to decrease airborne particles by over a factor of 10. Stopping the source of these particles is our number one priority.

No system is perfect and some particles may escape even our best efforts. Each patient room is now enclosed to confine all airborne particles to each room. By isolating the spread of particles that are created during routine treatment, we limit the potential spread of these particles to high traffic walkways or other patient treatment rooms. Kind of like social distancing for each room.

Dream dentistry has purchased ozone-free full spectrum air purifiers that cycle the entire volume of air in every operatory every 12 minutes. Utilizing a combination of an iAdaptAir® high-quality HEPA filter, carbon filter, UV-C, AHPCO® and Bi-Polar® technologies, we aim to eliminate pollutants and create an aerosol free operatory for staff and patients alike. Due to a national back order, iAdaptAir® air purifiers will be installed in the office around the first of june. We ask all high risk patients to postpone treatment until these purifiers are installed.
On top of all of the above systems we use, we are pleased to continue to utilize the Strongest disinfectants available on the market. Importing our disinfectants from small company from Canada, we utilize the same level of disinfection as is used in class 3 biohazard labs. We want sanitized; not simply wiped off instrumentation. Our product achieves immediate kill 15 seconds after application with a full kill time of less than two minutes. No other disinfectant works as well or as fast.

On top of all the ways we are keeping you safe, our doctor and staff will be wearing all of the recommended personal protective equipment (PPE). Thank you for being part of our dental family. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.

To our patients,

Dream Dentistry will be following the CDC and ADA directives and closing from march 18th until April 1st. This closure is subject to extension if we are advised to stay closed to limit the spread of the COVID-19 Corona Virus.
