Getting plastic surgery during the holidays season isn’t “crazy” like some said to me lol
While it is a busy time for some people, it is also ideal time for others. This is the perfect time to get longer PTO plus vacay days to get surgery done 🎉 plus recovering away from the sun and the temptation to go outdoors a bit too soon is out of the picture. Also, this is the time to recover inside, cozying up on the couch watching a favorite show or reading that forgotten book. Not to mention that if we want discretion, this is the prefect time to layer up scarves 🧣etc to achieve that needed privacy.

Smoking ci******es 🚬 or any kind of ni****ne va**ng is not recommended at all before and after any surgery- not just Plastic Surgery.

Many surgeons will not operate on clients if they’re smokers or if they don’t stop smoking for at least 6 weeks prior.

It’s a great risk for your surgery recovery. Ni****ne decreases the level of oxygen 🫁 going to your tissues as well as in your blood 🩸

Fresh oxygenated blood brings oxygen and nutrients to your surgical wound vital for healing ❤️‍🩹

If oxygen is limited, chances are that wounds will take longer to heal or may become infected.

Take care of your investment and the body 👙 you’ve dreamt for so long.

Don’t smoke at all (not worth it- believe me- I was the one smoking 🚬 prior to the day of my plastic surgery almost 10 years ago 🤦🏻‍♀️ and it did-not-go-good…. 🤦🏻‍♀️) and if you do, plan on stop smoking completely at least 6 weeks prior.

When choosing silicone implants vs saline implants, there are lots pro and cons to consider. Deciding one over the other ultimately comes to a personal decision between you and your Surgeon.
Make sure to take your time to explore your options, do your research, and ask all questions to your Surgeon. Remember that the good decisions you take now, will pay off once you see your results.

👄 Lip Lift: sometimes is done as part of a Facelift surgery but not necessarily. Here are some quick tips to make sure you recover as smoothly as possible. Lips and mouth area will be very, very swollen and that’s normal. Help yourself but staying with your head of bed elevated 🆙 Drinking and eating will definitely be a challenge; very soft easy to chew foods and drinking through a straw helps! Keep taking your anti inflammatory pills, pain pills- don’t wait till pain gets worse! take them as soon as you feel uncomfortable, and use the scar gel that your surgeon recommended to you to minimize the scar as much as possible. After Plastic Surgery, we are going to need:
1. Food 🍲 that will help you replenish & rebuild tissue. Proteins & complex Carbs for strength.
2. Your body needs plenty of rest so that it does its job healing ❤️‍🩹
3. Ice 🧊 to avoid swelling & help with pain.
4. Oxygen to your lungs 🫁 so that fresh blood with nutrients needed for healing get to the right places as well as to avoid respiratory problems.
5. Patience and time, your body will get there! 😊
6. Positive attitude is EVERYTHING. The better the vibes, the better the amazing results!
