Itās easy.
Itās either gonna go up or down.
I donāt predict the market and neither should you.
I want to break the establishment.
Thereās a lot of people trying but I donāt think theyāre doing it well.
You have Redfin , Zillow , and many discount brokerages that donāt value agents at all.
Then you have the bigger companies that have a lot of agents and a lot of market share but thereās no innovation.
Thereās gotta be something in the middle that must provide value to real estate agents and also be able to innovate.

Have you ever heard of the idea that you team has to be small enough that it can be fed by two full size pizzas? š
Iāve been challenged to apply this principle to Rainmaker Real Estate.
Instead of focusing on headcount (like many other brokerages) Nancy Reynolds and I have really tried to focus on bringing in the right people creating mentorship programs that build up agents to then build their own teams.
Weāre only two years in but excited for the next 20-30 years š
What do I do if someone does not respond to my calls/texts/emails regarding an offer?
I call.
I text.
I email.
Call. Text. Email.
Rinse and repeat until I get a response.

It makes sense that real estate agents want to work from home but that is not what weāre seeing at Rainmaker Real Estate.
Nancy Reynolds and I know a lot of amazing real estate agents.

Can't believe it was 22 years ago... feels like it was just yesterday that I was this cocky, self-proclaimed know-it-all kid that got into the business and how quickly real estate taught me lesson after lesson about how little I actually knew in business and in life... and the lessons continue! š¤
The probability of completing a goal is:
10% ā If you have an idea or a goal actually.
25% ā If you consciously decide you will do it.
40% ā If you decide when you will do it.
50% ā If you plan how you will do it.
65% ā If you commit to someone, you will do it.
95% ā If you have a specific accountability appointment with a person youāve committed to.

Humans arenāt software.
We have a limited capacity for knowledge.
This includes knowing others and building relationships.
Dunbarās number suggests you can only have real connections with 150 other people.
So start small, giving your dedicated attention to a core group, and grow from there.

There are people who farm and mail a piece every other week and theyāre super successful and people who door knock / cold call and see success that way.
But the reality is that thereās no silver bullet that will help you break into a market.
You have to experiment and try things and figure out what works for your personality and your style.
