We’re located in downtown Los Altos at the intersection of First and State Streets! Tin Pot offers decadent and sophisticated, full flavored ice cream with a twist on traditional favorites. In addition to scoops, we offer an assortment of freshly baked cookies and brownies. Our ice cream and baked goods are handcrafted daily in small batches using natural and wholesome ingredients.

Hanukkah, which means “dedication,” commemorates the miracle of light that occurred when Judah rededicated the Temple to the Hebrew god.
Hanukkah traditions is the lighting of the menorah each evening. Also known as the Hanukkah lamp, the menorah recalls the Temple lampstand and is a simple or elaborate candelabra with eight branches plus a holder for the shammash (“servant”) candle that is used to light the other eight candles. One candle is lit on the first evening, and an additional candle is lit on each subsequent evening until eight candles are burning on the last evening.
Though Hanukkah is the most widely used spelling, Chanukah is more traditional.

Our salted butterscotch ice cream is smooth, sweet and salty ice cream with notes of butter, brown sugar, and sea salt. This ice cream is a good balance of sweet and salty.

Happy National Parfait Day! Inspired by a boba drink, we did our take on a tea parfait!
Blue Jasmine ice cream with ladyfingers soaked in sweetened green tea. Layers of blackberries, whipped sweet cream, coconut jelly, and chocolate shavings. Set in freezer for an hour until ice cream gets firm again. Slice & enjoy!

Our vanilla bean ice cream is so darn delicious, it doesn't need a dessert to pair it with; it's made to be great on it's own.
Each batch has both pure vanilla extract and vanilla beans, hence the name, which creates that full flavor and depth. Not many know that - did you? 🤔

Here's a classic Cherry Jubilee recipe that is just perfect when served over our Tin Pot Vanilla Bean Ice Cream! 🍒
1 pound fresh or frozen ripe sweet cherries, cleaned and pitted
⅓ cup granulated sugar
juice of ½ a lemon
⅓ cup rum
In a saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, and lemon juice and heat until sauce thickens to the desired consistency.
When ready to serve, pour rum over sauce and ignite the alcohol with a utility lighter or long fireplace match. 🔥 Wait for a few seconds until the fire subsides.
Spoon desired amount of sauce over Tin Pot Vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!! 🍨
