SgtMaj - I have tears in my eyes as I write this…..

You believed in me when nobody else did. You took a risk on me and I could have been dropped from Drill Instructor School class 2-04.

I remember our first 6:00min mile pace squad run where we actually had to call out of breath cadence and you were screaming at me and every squad member as we called cadence - I wanted to turn to you and say - NOBODY CAN HEAR US OVER YOU!!!!

In reality I questioned how you were capable of making us all seem so out of shape and not prepared. We knew you were a MACHINE.

I also remember how you saw me to the hospital. You were the only one aside from my family to be there for me.

Thank you for believing in me when nobody else did.

It still makes me mad that you made me who I was as a DI and that you were from Echo Co!!! Haha. Just kidding. Also arty but hey, you can’t spell party without arty.
