Optic disc pit maculopathy (ODP-M) is a condition that can cause visual impairment. Various interventions have been suggested to treat ODP-M, with the most common surgical treatment being pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) with internal limiting membrane (ILM) peeling. However, a severe complication of macular hole formation can occur after surgical management.
