Sitting down with Alan Arkin in July of 2021 was such an honor. We chatted for almost 2 hours as if we had known one another for years. What a remarkable career, what a remarkable person. We parted sharing lunch invitations and smiles. Our hearts break with his passing.

We lost a wonderful playwright and very kind friend. Will Manus was always with a play in hand (a dozen in his brain, if not more) and the eagerness to bring it to the stage, in person or virtually. VA Blues, written by Will was directed by Stu Berg, who we also said goodbye to last year.

We are fortunate to have a small sample of their talents on SPT which will remain indefinitely. Thank you both, from all of us.
