The more I shoot film stocks, the more I’m starting to fall in love with Candido 800. This film stock can be used in various settings and lighting conditions, but I prefer shooting it during sunset as the highlights creates an afterglow in my images. ⁣

“I did a day trip to Big Sur last month. It was really foggy during the morning so I was a bit disappointed. The fog ended up clearing out and the sun came out, so I got inspired and photographed anything that grabbed my attention along PCH.”⁣

Last weekend, we had an amazing time attending .la.film.shop first photo walk of the year! Met so many cool people and it was great seeing so many people support and show up. It’s such a beautiful reminder to see that the film community is alive and thriving!⁣

Here are the results of shooting Kodak Pro Image 100 at a studio:⁣

Kodak Pro Image 100 is a fantastic film to use for a studio shoot. It gives off a warm glow that provides accurate colors of the skin tones. Make sure to use flash or sync your flash with a strobe light to provide correct exposure. I highly recommend trying this film next time you’re at the studio.⁣

Write a caption... “ Kodak Vision 500d was a film I tried for the first time back in 2021. Honestly, I was looking for something that wouldn’t break the bank. I was supposed to shoot in studio and wanted a film that would look good. I was offered Kodak Vision 500d. This shoot is special to me because it was the first time my sister agreed to be my model and we were just playing around with the lights. I believe the film looks good in low light conditions (no strobes, no flash), it does come a bit too grainy though. When the light is more natural, the skin tones are retained well, so I am really looking forward to trying it out in daylight, now that it’s available in our shop!”⁣
