When you stumble upon the room from and realize you need more of her artistry in your life.

She has so many new pieces and I’m especially drawn to the “bubble” inspired chandeliers that could make an appearance in our project that will be wrapping up by Jan 2025.

Before the kids wake up. Before the phone rings.

This is your moment of the day you get to take it all in.

Pouring that first cup of coffee for the day. The views of creamy cabinets, the shine of your polished brass fixtures and all of the natural light that fills the room.

Yes, enjoy.

Oh the elements of coastal and how they bring such a light and airy way to any space they enter.

From crisp whites to the natural materials of wood and wickers, it’s about bringing the outdoors inside.

There’s a cheerfulness that comes with this style and the massive appeal of shades of blue allows all users of the space feel fresh and clean!

What do you think of the coastal style? Is it something you would bring into your home?

Come have a cozy seat and stay awhile…

My favorite part about sitting rooms are the conversations. Nowadays it may mean that you stepped away from the group to take a call. It could be a place you welcome parents to sit and talk while their kids play upstairs with yours.

With so many potential purposes, making sure there are comfortable seats, plenty of spots to set a coffee cup and something pretty to keep it inviting, you will love your sitting room.

Never mind me, I’ll be over here gushing over the dreamy blue hues, warm marble accents and the dramatic punch of the striking black plumbing fixtures.

This summer heat is in full motion and once we blink we will be headed into the beautiful nature of fall. It’s my favorite season as the weather turns crisp, candles are lit and we pull out our favorite sweaters.

Many finishing touches still to come for the bathroom with light fixtures on their way 🙌 but I thought I’d share a sneak peek at the progress of this modern rustic transformation. Swipe for before ➡️

I’m curious, what’s your favorite season?

Is your bedroom the MOST sacred space?

If you think about it, this little piece of the world is truly all yours. It’s such a private and personal place that you rely on for comfort, relaxation and rest.

Did you also know that blue is the most universally liked color by all? No matter the gender, this color creates a calming, inviting and neutral atmosphere.

We started with the bench - since my client found it and said she had to have it!

Added a neutral rug that had pops of blues and gold. Then came the gorgeous matte black nightstands with leather wrapped hardware that really steal the show.

And layer by layer we made this bed into a soft and luxurious haven that left my client saying “I can’t believe I get to sleep here every night”.

Today was a day like any other, and yet this bathroom made it feel special. Cheers to the beauty and appreciation in the small things.

All of the guests have asked about this beautiful wood vanity and it’s just one of those pieces that leaves you drooling.

Who doesn’t love a fabulous before and after?

It’s easy to understand why they were ready to remodel. After all, you can only take so much of broken tiles, carpet in the bathroom and lack of storage.

One day you wake up and say, enough IS enough!

So overjoyed for them to finally have a brand new space they can relax and enjoy after all of these years. I guess becoming an empty nester definitely has its perks 😎

She was VERY skeptical…. But we did it!

When I presented the idea of opening up her kitchen to be apart of her overall living space, there was a bit of concern on her part. In fact, there were several points before construction where she wanted to keep her original layout.

No way was I going to force her into anything she wasn’t comfortable with, so to ease her mind, I grabbed my painters tape and mapped out exactly where and how her new kitchen would be arranged.

If you ask her now—it’s the best decision she could have made. Point is, change takes an insane amount of courage. It’s risky even if it’s supposed to be “an improvement”. There’s a lot of doubt in design and I’m so glad she pushed through the fear with a little hand holding, to make it to the finish line!

Congrats Mollie! Your new kitchen is a beauty.

Nothing like those ocean vibes in the summer time. Totally different take on “coastal” but it definitely captures all of the feels of the beach in a very elevated way.

From the waves and movement in the large format wall tile to the soft curves of the vanity. Even the floor treatment mimics the sand and pebbles we all appreciate when getting our toes wet.

We accented the deep blue tones with a polished champagne bronze finish for plumbing fixtures and accessories for a pop of contrast.

Using natural marble stone for the countertops softens the white cabinet.

Of course we made it functional too. Storage, storage, storage. A full linen cabinet along with a deluxe medicine cabinet and many drawers in the vanity allows for plenty of places to put everything in its place.

What is your favorite part?

You want me with YOU for 2 reasons:

I know what it takes and I deliver RESULTS. Yep!

I’m not here to boast about my talent or skills within the realm of interior design. Instead, I’d rather let you know that every feeling you have about your home, your dates and cluttered environment, your goals and fears; I’ve been there.

And I can confidently say that your home is MY biggest priority because YOU are my priority. So at the end of the day, I want to look after your budget, your schedule, your mental health and what you want out of your home!

From finding the best deals on materials, to hiring good contractors that show up and do well, I make sure everything is taken care of and nothing goes to waste - including your time!

We have many projects going on this year, and will be able to take on 1-2 more projects before the end of 2024. So if you are wanting to start planning your project for a 2025 remodel, DM me and I’ll send you next steps to see if your project is a good fit!

You won’t regret starting but you will regret letting another year go by.

I don’t think I’ll ever get used to how magically different a room can feel after a successful remodel.

It’s the most incredible thing to see how a space can take on a whole new life. It’s giving a home a second chance, a new chapter. A fresh start.

One of the other special parts about interior design is the power of personality and individual preferences. I have clients who want all things white, some that want to keep it traditional, others who want metal and rock on the walls! How fantastic is that??

There’s no limit to the ideas, to the risk taking, to the combinations. To choose every detail of your space to be exactly how you want it, waking up and loving every wall, every item, every choice. The memories of making those selections. There really is nothing else like it!

I’m blessed to be apart of this with the homeowners who asked to have me by their side to guide them, educate them and ease their concerns when it gets a little overwhelming.

I love my job almost as I love my clients!

Warning!! Taking in this view may result in feeling oh so Gooood…

First make sure you like and SAVE this post so you can come back to it!

The before and after of this space is incredible, swipe to see the BEFORE ➡️

You may be asking yourself if such beauty actually exists or if it’s just AI— and the answer is yes! My clients are pinching themselves every morning just to make sure it’s not a dream!

The best part is that this bathroom was a combined effort, a collaboration of ideas between us. We designed this masterpiece together and that’s what makes it fun and dynamic.

My client found this beautiful custom glass mosaic window from which gives the space character.

We chose Absolute White Marble for countertop and surface stone from which perfectly complimented the shower and floor tile.

Plumbing fixtures have soft curves to balance the many straight lines in the room. And black details throughout help define and ground this bathroom.

We removed the wall that separated the bathroom from the hallway for a much better layout and raised the ceiling to open up the space.

I still can’t believe it’s complete. They are so completely thrilled with the results that they can’t wait to tackle the rest of their home.

It’s time to stop dreading…

Over doing the laundry 🤭 after all, it’s not going anywhere unless you wash it!

So it may not be the most fun of chores, but there are strategies on making it easier and dare I say, faster?

First like and save this post as a reminder!

1. Give yourself something pretty to look upon when you are working away. Wether art work, a pretty wall color, or a fun piece of decor, make it interesting for yourself.

2. Throw out all of the junk! You heard me. Stop hanging onto old coin sorters, the pile of single socks missing its pair, and buried linens that haven’t been touched since you moved in. This will give you space to put things away, removing the clutter.

3. Tackle laundry by sorting hanging items together (colors vs darks) and foldable items. Wash them in those categories. Why? Because having a load where you can repeat the same action will feel much simpler to tackle.

Are you ready to go?

Words cannot describe the tranquility and pure joy this Air BnB cabin in Sonoma County, Guernville brings to anyone who visits it. My client wanted this space to be fun and whimsical for his guests, because why not!?

We added patterned wallpaper as a playful backdrop, a fresh coat of Benjamin Moore White Heron to give the eye a break, geometric colorful bedding and a hint of those California palm trees with wall art.

Love it or not your vibe, we can all appreciate a unique space that reflects personality!

Can you find the hidden designer details of this kitchen?

Take a good look before reading the answers!

1. The Range Hood: made to order by we were able to choose, color, size, shape and trim details.

2. The oversized island layered with beautiful “Salina’s White” granite.

3. Soffits: the best way to make anything feel finished is to make it look “built-in” and we did so with the cabinets by having soffits built specifically for these cabinets so the kitchen now looks like it has floor to ceiling cabinets.

If you found other elements that feel custom, you are right. Lots of finishing details such as window casing or the arches (supporting columns that we embraced in the design to avoid further costs) make this kitchen a masterpiece!

Can you believe we designed this bathroom within a couple of hours?

I’ve been wanting to use this beautiful tile from for months and this was a great opportunity to do so!

To add contrast and dimension to this glossy subway tile I paired it with a warm gray floor tile that looks like stone and carried it into the shower. This makes the bathroom feel larger as there are no visual breaks in the floor.

Next we opted for a rustic wood vanity with modern black legs and cabinet pulls and paired that with an arched mirror to add warmth from the curves.

Finally to finish things off, champagne bronze plumbing fixtures. Design tip: always use the same finish and style for plumbing fixtures in the same room.

Does this bathroom feel inviting to you?

Could you use a break?

Going through the archives I always stop the scroll at our project Playa Azul because it gives me all of the warm beach vibes I’m really missing during these cold months.

We played it safe on plenty of material selections such as shiplap and white storage cabinet. All of the risks were taken in the fine details like the wooden lantern pendants from and the bamboo inspired cabinet pulls.

Traditional style brushed nickel plumbing fixtures from have the cool tones to complement the oceanic color scheme but warmer than chrome to keep this space feeling inviting.

How did we do on this space?

It took a lot of convincing but…

It certainly paid off! My client was VERY hesitant in changing the footprint of her kitchen she had for over 20 years. Unfortunately, that u-shaped layout left her isolated when preparing meals for her family instead of being able to talk and laugh with them.

Moving appliance locations can be the MOST expensive way to impact your budget. So we kept everything in its place (simply rotating her stovetop direction) with the exception for the oven, which we moved to the wall. We added pullouts for easy access and drawers!

My tip for you is to substitute drawers for any cabinets. GAME CHANGER on your back.

Fluted ceramic tile from and window casing added character, while opting for sage green shaker lower cabinets and white upper cabinets allowed for color and keeping a bright open feel above eye-level.

This project was incredibly special as she is the mother of my dear friend who passed last June. I miss her more than words and I know she would be so happy to see her mama with this beautiful new space.
