"I’m not the most religious person out there, but being Jewish is the sun upon which the rest of my life orbits. It’s where I want to start building community as I figure out how to be an adult. Maybe I’ll find wisdom in the weekly Torah portion. Maybe leading Torah services (twice so far!) will help me get over my fear of public speaking. Maybe meeting the other young people there will help me build my friendship network. Maybe, as my mother hopes, it’s where I’ll meet my bashert, just as it has been for two other couples I know."⁠

S’firah Music Madness!

During the days that we count the Omer, many observe the tradition of not listening to instrumental music. For some, this is the time to switch to their acapella playlist. Let's have some fun diving into some of the best acapella performances online, both Jewish and secular!

Our program is set up in a bracket structure, much like March Madness. Every few days we will post links to two different performances and a ballot on the minyan page. Simply watch the two performances and fill out the Google form. We will let you know who wins and give you the links for the next round.
