After-School All-Stars
We provide free after-school programs that keep kids safe & help them succeed in school and life
Together we make a great team! โจ
As the year comes to a close, we can't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for all the incredible support from our All-Stars community. ๐โค๏ธ
This past summer and current school year, we served more kids at more sites than ever before. In all, our year-round programs provided services to over 150,000 students at more than 750 locations across the country - we couldn't have done it without you!
It takes a team of mission-driven after school advocates and champions to make our mission of keeping youth safe and empowering them to discover their full potential possible.
No two All-Stars have the same needs. Fortunately, our incredible, creative mentors take the time to get to know each student and adapt their teaching methods to each unique learning style.
As a rising 3rd grade student at New Springs School in Tampa, Florida, Cali had a strong preference for reading over math.
When Cali joined After-School All-Stars, her mentors encouraged her passion for reading while supporting her development in math. Cali was incredibly motivated to learn, and she eventually mastered the curriculum that allowed her to thrive in the new school year.
With few summer learning opportunities available to young people, students like Cali rely on After-School All-Stars to prepare them for the school year to come.

After-School All-Stars provides students with exposure to artistic activities they may not receive elsewhere. As a result, new talents and passions emerge โ and lifelong journeys can begin.
When Saul met ASAS LA Director Mr. Mendoza, he had no idea what to expect. A decade later, he is an esteemed dancer, coaching beside Mr. Mendoza. Donor support made this transformation possible, and your support today can make it happen again.
As an enthusiastic soccer player, Saul was surprised when Mr. Mendoza offered him a chance to join the dance team. In the years that followed, dance extended into everything Saul did ... and everything he became.
Encounters with bullying and depression made the early years of his dance journey challenging, but Saul loved what he did and with the help of All-Stars he persevered.
Today, Saul works alongside Mr. Mendoza as ASAS LA Assistant Director. In this capacity, he helps his own mentees to gain confidence, grow as leaders, and find their passion for performing arts.
Support in any amount is critical to keep these under resourced programs alive โ and turn students into mentors along the way. Give the gift of impact today! https://www.facebook.com/donate/1044223973444751/
