UCLA Financial Aid and Scholarships will be conducting Census for Summer Session C this Friday, August 23, 2024.

Our office will review your Summer 2024 enrollment to verify that you are enrolled in the number of units you indicated on your Summer Financial Aid Application.

If you are currently enrolled in the number of units you indicated on your Summer Financial Aid Application and have no plans to decrease your unit count, you can disregard this reminder.

Please be aware that our office will adjust your financial aid according to the number of units you are enrolled in as of Saturday, August 24, 2024.

If you miss the priority deadline you might not be eligible to qualify for some forms of financial aid.

Attention New Bruins!
Provisional Aid Letters (PALs) are now available for viewing. Please log on to your myUCLA Portal to access your PAL. If you cannot view your PAL, it could be due to UCLA not having your Financial Aid Application (School Code 001315), or we are requesting additional documents. Please send us a Message Center Message via your myUCLA Portal so we can help you with any inquiries or questions you may have regarding your PAL.

With this year's particularly high amount of technical difficulties, the UCLA Prospective Scholarship Application has extended its deadline to March 10th. If you have not submitted this yet, we encourage all prospective qualifying students to do so as soon as possible!

As many have noticed, the new FAFSA is currently experiencing difficulty allowing parents, guardians, or spouses without an SSN to create an FSA ID. FAFSA technical support is working to resolve this issue and encourage all mixed status students to delay submitting their FAFSA until then. Thank you all so much for your patience!

After receiving great feedback about your experience with our FAFSA/CADAA workshops and the priority filing deadline (APRIL 2nd) in mind, we are extending our workshop schedule!

In collaboration with our friends , we will provide 6 additional workshops IN-PERSON! ✍🏽

Join us to receive one-on-one assistance in completing your 24-25 FAFSA or CADAA! These FREE Financial Aid workshops are led by a Full-Time Financial Aid Representative and begin with a short 10-15 minute presentation regarding changes and updates with the application process! ✅

Workshops will run from March 6th-April 1st. The priority filing deadline is APRIL 2ND!

We understand that the technical issues going on with the FAFSA application and delays in processing within the Department of Education have been stressful.

As a result, UCLA along with the State of California and the University of California, will be honoring April 2, 2024 as the priority filing deadline for the 2024-2025 FAFSA and CADAA!

The FAFSA/CADAA is OPEN! The priority deadline is March 2nd, so please get started on filling it out as soon as you can. The earlier you submit yours, the less technical difficulties there will be later on, so save yourself the trouble and fill out the form sooner rather than later!

Attention, Fellow Bruins! Don't forget the deadline for the Bruin Pay Plan (BPP)! If you are enrolling, be sure to do it before December 20th.

The financial aid census date for Summer Session C 2023 is August 25, 2023. If you are currently enrolled in less than the units indicated on your summer application, you can add classes up until 11:59 pm on that day so your aid is not changed.
