Our sandwiches are nestled between soft, nourishing bread free from harmful conditioners and preservatives. Our mission? To reimagine the beloved crustless sandwich, making it both nutritious and delicious! 😋 Each sandwich satisfies 1 whole grain and 1 M/MA credits, offering a healthy and delectable addition to any meal or menu.

Teaching gave me a lot of confidence cause I was always really shy and not really comfortable talking in front of a lot of people. It made me realize I can do that and I always feel so happy everytime I leave the class, I can’t wait to go back to the next one! As a food lover I love all the recipes and every week I have the opportunity to learn some new ones (like the kimchi that I didn’t have a clue what it was). Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We are highlighting two amazing teachers, Gracen and Eddie, who contribute so much to our students' learning and growth opportunities🌟👩‍🍳📚

Students really can learn so much from cooking! From math to science to reading and writing. We've not only taught students how to be ambassadors in their communities about making healthy choices but also how to incorporate and encourage their learning inside the classroom and utilizing those skills within our cooking lessons. They've also gotten to try lots of tasty foods, which I know they carry with them! My favorite Lunch Bunch recipe has to be Pesto Pasta! The tastiest pesto you've ever tried and I love working with students with different equipment, like the blender, to show how to make a super healthy, yet delicious, pasta sauce they may have never experienced before. (Our French Toast is a close second!) --Gracen, Enrichments Manager

Teaching with Lunch Bunch has been a heartwarming experience, being able to take the knowledge and skills that I’ve learned over the past 15+ years in the culinary industry and share it with younger generations is rewarding! We have the power to create future chefs. Did you know that the study published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2019 found that while school lunches have “improved” since the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act, there is still SO much to do…

The study actually found that school lunches are still higher in sodium and lower in fiber and protein?
