It has been my greatest honor to create this brand! Today is our last day in business with me as the owner. What a ride this has been. There will be so many exciting additions to the menu, start following to get HYPED! The store will be closed tomorrow, please follow them to get updates on the reopening date. All your favorite menu items will return, but the menu will be different while she transitions! ❤️❤️ Keep us busy for this last day, it will be so hard to say goodbye to all of you!

The street vendors in China making delicious waffles and pancakes! What an amazing experience being here. So inspiring to see the amazing foods they create in spaces half of the space that we have available at Wanna Waffle?

My restaurant friends, do you spend your days off cooking? We have a house full of hungry teenagers most weekends, so I know I do! These puff pastries are ones we serve in Elk Grove, and the kids loveeeeee them. Also, peep the title of the group chat! Ha! The fun part about kids growing up! 😂😂

I got to participate in such a fun day today!
These kids have been working on a Shark Tank themed unit for their homeschool co-op.

1️⃣ First, the students split into three groups.
2️⃣ Then, each group developed a product or service idea, learned about the economics involved (supply/demand, cost of materials, ROI, etc.), logo design, etc.
3️⃣ Today, they presented their ideas to the Sharks!

What an amazing night at the Oakley Chamber of Commerce mixer last night! Co hosted by and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! We got to hear from our local first responders about ways to keep business safe, and career paths in law enforcement and fire. Great time! Local businesses, join this chamber, it is a very active and engaged one!!

Hadley might be changing the menu at Wanna Waffle? She really wanted to live her firehouse dreams and she wanted to practice cooking for a crowd like she will have to do as a firefighter, so she researched recipes and whipped up this gumbo and chocolate mint brownies! Thanks again

When your kid has to interview a person of interest, and her dream is to become a firefighter, you reach out to the most amazing friend and customer for help! Thank you so@much, my sweet thing is even more excited about her choice thanks to you!

Our youngest staff member turned 11 today!! I can’t believe it, and you probably can’t either if she had ever helped you. She is wise beyond her years. Happy birthday my littlest ❤️

Okay. Is it weird to be in love with a sandwich??? This one will hit the menu soon, but I think a teaser is in order! It’s chicken (yes it can be made gluten free or plant based!), topped with house pickled veggies (carrots, cucumbers, green onions), jalapeños, and a drizzle of spicy mayo. It is so delicious, even our veggie hating staff members loved it! Name TBD, but coming soon!!!
