I made a Mickey candy cane wreath the other day.
It’s really fun to have some projects for the holidays to do. Since I already had ribbon, glue, and felt fabric, I only spent about $11 on the circles and the diamond 💎 glitter I used. DIY Candy Cane Wreath :
What you need is 3 foam circles. - One 14” FloraCraft® FloraFōM Extruded Wreath Green
(Item # 10103228 ),
- One 9.5-10” FloraCraft wreath white top circles (Item # 10221943)
- ❤️🤍1” Red velvet ribbon and 1 cm white satin ribbon (Anything smaller than 1” for the white ribbon will do)
- 1 kabob Stick
- Dark Green Felt 10”x 12” Sized Bow
- Hot glue gun
🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Directions:
1)Plug in hot glue gun : Wrap around red ribbon to see how much ribbon you will need and spacing you would like 2)Measure and cut. 3) place hot glue on ribbon (let the glue sit for a few seconds before placing on the foam) then onto the foam.
4) Repeat steps 1-3 for white satin ribbon
5) Place Circles where you want them to sit to make two Mickey ears
6) Cut Kabob Wooden stick in Half with scissors. Take one of the half’s and Poke a hole in the center of the Mickey ear where the ear will be placed.
7) Do the same thing on the other side
8) make a Simple Bow to make it minnie style and
❤️Voila you have a Minnie or Mickey Candy cane Wreath
