Missed posting this yesterday for International Cat Day: rescued from strays in the yard. On occasion Mits has been a therapy animal at the office, and cats are always therapy for our family at home. Did you know that scientific studies have shown blood pressure decreases when you are interacting with an animal?

Great news! Kitten has been adopted and appears to settling in nicely. Thank you to Karla for the investment in money, time and caring (it’s taking my cat a while to adjust to new creatures) - sad it didn’t work out. even strays .

For immediate adoption: adorable 3-month-old female kitten. Cooperative for claw trimming, very people-socialized. Contact the office if you are going to be her forever home.

The recent emergence of the Omicron variant (B.1.1.529) further emphasizes the importance of vaccination, boosters, and general prevention strategies needed to protect against COVID-19. Everyone 5 and older should get vaccinated and boosters are recommended for everyone 18 years and older

Also a reminder for proper face covering wear in indoor spaces. Wear acceptable covering that completely cover your nose and mouth with a close, snug fit. Remove only when you are actively eating or drinking and put it back on. I am still amazed how often, even after almost 2 years into this Covid-19 pandemic, people do not wear their face coverings correctly.
