Ok hi, I’M FREAKING OUT!!!! Iris+West is moving to Echo Park in mid-February (I don’t have an exact open date yet, but ofc I’ll tell you asap).​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​What I can tell you is this- I've been dreaming of this day for 8 years. I’ve always had this vision of walking into a beautiful, sunny space, that feels comfortable and safe and seeing you getting your services done or just hanging out, hearing your conversations, joining in on the gossip, or shouting compliments at each other like we always do. I can imagine some of you popping in just to say “hi” if you’re in the area(I really hope you will). I can see the smiles on everyones faces and it fills me with joy and it pushes me forward any time I feel lost, or like I want to throw the towel in- owning a business is not for the weak. This work, this team, and is my life. It gets me up everyday, it helps me see softness and kindness in the world. Taking care of you, our clients and friends creates this really deep sense of purpose that moves me to tears often.

I can’t wait to share this dream with you all. You’ve been such an enormous part of this journey thus far, and I know it will keep getting better in this new space where we can offer more availability, more care, customization, and connection. We can be our best selves here, and that’s what I+W has been working towards all along.
