Your Genes Vs Your Environment
In our clinic, We’ve seen most of chronically unresolved issues are connected with genetic weakness.
Dr. Bruce Lipton, named the "Father of Epigenetics" has stated that 98% of all diseases have an epigenetic (environmental) component. It's almost always the environment causing or triggering the problem. Our environment includes everything that we eat, we drink, the air we breathe, and what is flying through the air, including electromagnetics and emotions.
As we perform the energy field testing procedure, we can read the immediate environment and identify the priority epigenetic information. Genetic information from the testing vials reveals infinitesimal factors relating to the current epigenetic state of the body. Therefore, we can identify important environmental factors that once acknowledged and handled, create the most effective natural healing.
Methylxanthine Toxicity Syndrome
Methylxanthine toxicity is one of the most common findings nowadays. The most common clinical symptoms we see are joint dysfunction or chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, adrenal fatigue, liver problems, and heart symptoms, but they can be anything.
Caffeine belongs to the methylxanthine family, which also includes theobromine, theophylline, and paraxanthine. These compounds are present in coffee, tea, chocolate, coke, yerba mate, acai, and guarana.
We found that approximately 80% of patients cannot tolerate the caffeine family. If you experience more symptoms from the caffeine family, we recommend avoiding this type of product for at least one month; after that, some people are able to consume caffeine-containing products in small amounts, and some cannot. It is common to experience withdrawal symptoms for up to 2 weeks after eliminating caffeine. Greens, Reish, Carbonated Bamboo, and Vitamin B may help with methylxanthine toxicity syndrome.
𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥
Numerous people have presented symptoms associated with fungi like yeast, candida, or mold. Given the prevailing environmental conditions, it is prudent to consider implementing an anti-fungal dietary regimen lasting 2-3 weeks. Fungal proliferation appears to be exacerbated by electromagnetic fields (EMF), thus emphasizing the importance of minimizing EMF exposure within the household environment. You can also thoroughly clean moldy areas using borax, hydrogen peroxide, or vinegar. Moreover, You can also use ozonator for your house( Turn on Full strength, leave house for 6-8 hours, when you come back, open the windows/ fan on)
𝐃𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
Avoid any sweeteners, including honey, maple syrup, fruit juice, dried fruit, vinegar, alcohol, soy sauce, miso, cheese, yeast, tempeh, kombucha, gluten, dairy, corn, eggs, soy, fermented food, and solanines from nightshades. Usually, stevia and fresh fruits are okay.
Since our bodies cannot produce iodine on it's own, we must get it from food. Great sources of iodine include: seaweed, fish, shellfish, dairy, iodized table salt, eggs, beef liver, and chicken.
Those who find it difficult to consume the foods listed above can add high quality supplements to their routine.
We at 3 Angels Health Center know that one size does NOT fit all when it comes to health so please come see us to determine whether or not your body is iodine deficient. We'd also like to send a gentle reminder that not all supplements are created equal. On an iodine supplement but not sure if it's working for you? Book a consultation and bring in your supplements! We can test whether your body likes them or not.
Sending you health and wealth from your 3 Angels Health Center team. :)

Vitamin K2 has been a vastly misunderstood vitamin. But recent research is starting to show how vital this vitamin is to a healthy body! It helps on skin health and bone metabolism, promotes proper brain function and prevents heart-related diseases.
Vitamin K2 is important in the body's use of calcium to help build bones and to inhibit blood vessel calcification. Poor Vitamin K intake is linked to low bone mass, osteoporosis and fracture risk.
Vitamin K2 has been shown to promote liver functional recovery in patients with liver cirrhosis.
Without enough Vitamin K2, our teeth are susceptible to tooth decay. They lose the ability to both defend against bacteria and heal and re-mineralize teeth from the inside.
Great sources of Vitamin K2 come from animal products that are PASTURE RAISED and GRASS FED. Beef and lamb liver. Butter and ghee. Chicken, duck, or goose liver pate. Natto, Sauerkraut. Hard cheeses and Kefir. Also Vitamin K2 is available on vegetarian products too.
Many beauty products claim to be “natural,” and it can be hard to navigate which ones are and are not toxic. So here is an ingredients checklist for you to go through and make sure NONE of these are in your products.
Triclosan, Avobenzone, Benzphenone
Ethoxycinnamate, PABA, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)
Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), Pthalates, Benzoyl Peroxide
Parabens, Dioxin, Polyethylene Glycol (PEG)
FD&C Color & Pigments, Diethanolamine (DEA)
Monoethanolamine (MEA), Triethanolamine (TEA)
Propylene Glycol (PG), DMDM Hyandtion, Urea (Imidazolidinyl)
These chemicals are absorbed through the skin straight into the bloodstream. They are carcinogenic and many damage DNA. Many mess with hormones and affect fertility. Some cause damage to the liver and kidneys. They can contribute to miscarriages and birth defects. They can cause irritation, aging, and drying out in the skin. Some are the cause of symptoms such as allergies, depression, fatigue, and insomnia. Avoid these ingredients contacting your skin!

With all the time spent wearing masks right now, it’s important to take good care of your mouth to prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Here are some natural strategies for great oral health!
1. Mix baking soda with hydrogen peroxide to create a natural whitening toothpaste. Baking soda has been shown to increase the pH in your mouth, decreasing the chances of decay and disease. It is also a natural teeth whitener. And hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria. But only use this toothpaste 1-2 times per week so as not to damage tooth enamel.
2. Activated charcoal can restore electrolytes to your teeth as well as whiten them. It also removes plaque and destroys toxins. Brush with activated charcoal once a week.
3. Oil pulling- swishing coconut oil or another non-toxic oil in your mouth for five minutes- will pull the toxins from your mouth, teeth, and gums and kill bad microbes. But Dr. Song warns not to do it more than a couple times a week otherwise it can also kill the good microbes in your mouth.
4. Mouth cleaning tools. Invest in a stainless steel tongue scraper to clean your tongue. And make sure to brush twice a day and floss once a day. Do not use conventional toothpaste as it contains fluoride as well as other toxic chemicals. Dr. Song recommends a probiotic toothpaste called Revitin which she carries in her office.
5. Last but not least, ask Dr. Song about whole food based gum and teeth support supplements.
Cheers! 😁

From all the new bugs going around in our environment right now, Dr. Song is finding that her patients are most affected in the hypothalamus, a part of the brain that regulates hormones and the nervous system.
The hypothalamus is a key factor in hormone production. The thyroid-releasing hormone (TRH) is released by the hypothalamus to speak to the pituitary gland to speak to the thyroid about hormone production. A common symptom of hypothalamus disfunction is irregular menstrual cycles and other hormonal issues.
The hypothalamus is also the part of the brain that controls the autonomic nervous system affecting breathing, heartbeat, and blood vessels. In a state of disfunction the patient may experience unexplained anxiety.
Not only this, the hypothalamus connects the endocrine and nervous systems. In doing so it regulates body temperature, thirst, appetite and weight control, emotions, sleep cycles, s*x drive, child birth, blood pressure and heart rate, production of digestive juices, and balancing bodily fluids.
Muscle testing is key for highlighting areas that need support that would otherwise be overlooked such as the hypothalamus.

Acne can be very frustrating and most people try to deal with it topically. But more often than not, the cause of acne is internal. The most common cause is actually parasites according to Dr. Song! Here are some other possible root issues:
Hormonal imbalances can cause breakouts around the mouth area for women because of an imbalance in estrogen and progesterone in the mouth.
Gut microbe imbalances can cause harmful bacteria overgrowth which greatly affects the skin. The worst way to deal with this type of acne is prescribing antibiotics because it causes further gut imbalances.
Environmental stress as well as internal infections and pathogens can cause inflammation in your skin (i.e. parasites).
Toxic skin and beauty products can dry out your skin and damage it with toxic chemicals. Make sure to read the ingredients of what you are putting on your skin!
Lastly, nutrient deficiencies can also cause your skin to react. Essential nutrients for the skin include Omega-3s, Vitamin A, Vitamin D and Zinc.
There are so many different causes! How do you know which one to tackle? Thankfully through testing, your body can let you know what’s wrong. Many of Dr. Song’s patients report seeing acne diminish because the root causes are finally being treated.

Apple cider vinegar tastes a bit sour but has amazing health benefits and can easily become part of your routine. It’s not for everyone all the time, but at the right time it can be a big help! ACV is derived from apple juice that has been fermented. The process causes the sugars in the apple juice to turn into alcohol which becomes acetic acid.
The acetic acid that it provides can aid the stomach acids in breaking down foods- especially fats. It is recommended to drink 1 TBSP mixed with water before meals to improve digestion.
ACV also helps to balance your blood sugar- another reason to drink before meals, especially meals that may be high in carbs. Studies have shown a significant decrease in glycemic index when apple cider vinegar was added to a meal rich in carbohydrates. Alternatively, it can be added to recipes. It’s a fantastic ingredient in marinades and salad dressings.
Another benefit– it improves energy. It’s great to drink a shot in the morning as a pick me up, or in the afternoon to keep sugar cravings at bay. Try it when you first wake up in the morning, before a meal, or mixed into a recipe, and observe which brings the greatest benefits to you.
Please note: Those undergoing an amoeba detox should avoid ACV, along with citrus fruits and berries.

Magnesium is the super mineral of the body. It does so much that a deficiency in magnesium can cause major issues, but on the bright side major issues can be relieved with magnesium supplementation.
First of all magnesium regulates the GABA neurotransmitter in the brain. Without this transmitter firing there will be mood disorders, brain fog, and difficulty focusing.
Magnesium regulates calcium levels, excreting excess calcium from the brain as well as the heart. Excess calcium is a common cause of migraines and heartbeat irregularities. Healthy magnesium levels can prevent these symptoms from occurring.
Magnesium is a major part of nerve function, and therefore muscle cramps will often occur when there is a deficiency. Magnesium stimulates bowel movement and without it there are constipation problems. Magnesium also is necessary for the majority of the body’s enzymatic processes. When it is deficient, 300 processes are affected. This can cause major fatigue.
There are ways to make sure you’re getting enough magnesium. Keep magnesium rich foods as part of your daily diet. These include avocados, dark chocolate, while caught fish, pink salts, nuts, and leafy greens.
Or if you want a magnesium hack, try epsom salt baths. Pouring a cup or two of epsom salt into a warm bath and soaking for twenty minutes will nourish your body with magnesium.
Finally, ask Dr. Song to test you and see if you need a magnesium supplement. There are many different types of magnesium so she will also be able to determine which type your body wants. Make sure your body is not missing this super mineral!
Dairy done right is all about quality. Albeit some people truly are allergic to the lactose or the proteins in milk, much of dairy indigestion has to do with product selection. You may want to try eliminating dairy for 90 days and then slowly adding back in raw grass-fed milk.
Why grass-fed? As farmers aimed for a greater yield of milk, they began feeding their cows grains instead of grass. The grains cause the cows to produce three times more milk, however the quality of the milk is substantially reduced. The grass provides the essential fats, nutrients, and probiotics to prevent bad bacteria in the cow. Studies show that the more grains a cow eats, the more likely it will spread infection to the consumer. That’s why there began to arise E coli and other bacterial epidemics, which in turn caused the pasteurization of milk to eliminate this bad bacteria. Problem is pasteurization also destroys essential enzymes, vitamins, proteins and probiotics which help to digest the milk fats. Cue digestion problems!
Why raw? This is milk the way it was meant to be consumed. Before farms began to pasteurize milk for bacteria issues caused by grain feeding, it was normal to leave raw milk out to ferment. Fermentation means that the naturally occurring microorganisms produce good bacteria (probiotics) that help to preserve the milk and also have health benefits when consumed. But now that milk is pasteurized, it is no longer protected by good microbiomes and becomes vulnerable to bad microbes. Most pasteurized milk is also homogenized to make the milk fat consistent throughout and smoother to drink. Homogenization creates an enzyme called XO which is highly inflammatory. Cue more digestion problems.
In summary the milk that is easiest to digest and safest to drink is both raw and grass-fed. Grass-fed is better than organic because cows can have an organic diet that is still grain based. It’s the grass that keeps the cows healthy and therefore your milk healthy. And it is especially important that raw milk is grass-fed. Raw milk from a grain-based diet is in danger of bad bacteria.
You can buy raw grass-fed milk from your local farmers market if your state allows it to be sold. Let us know if your dairy digestion improves from making this change!
*But please note, it is recommended to complete a parasite cleanse before using dairy. From 20 years of clinical practice, Dr. Song has observed that the body cannot handle dairy if parasites are still present.*
For the vegans out there we wanted to give some alternate food sources for vitamins D and B12, which are mostly sourced from animal products. If you are vegan it’s very important to make sure you are intaking these from other sources.
Vitamin D is crucial to immunity, strong bones, heart health, and reducing inflammation. It is clinically proven that putting your mushrooms in the sun for 15 minutes activates vitamin D in them. One serving of mushrooms that have sunbathed can give you your daily dose of vitamin D!
Vitamin B12 is important for healthy blood, nerves and bones, as well as hair, skin and nails. Vegan sources of B12 include nutritional yeast, marmite or yeast spreads, fortified soy or almond milk, plant-based meats, fortified cereals, tempeh, chlorella and nori seaweed.
Make sure you are incorporating these foods into your diet if you are vegan!
The glymphatic system is a waste removal system in the brain. There are fluids that run through passageways in the brain to clear out the toxic build up and transfer it to the lymphatic system. For example it can remove the fragments of proteins called beta-amyloid peptides that are known to cause Alzheimer’s disease. This constant draining and cleansing of the brain keeps it healthy and functioning in neuroplasticity, which is the brain’s ability to restore itself. Glymphatic congestion is something to be aware of that can endanger the brain to degeneration. Congestion can happen if you are not getting enough sleep over the years since glymphatic drainage happens only while sleeping. It can also happen due to an overabundance of environmental toxins. The botulinum toxin in Botox and ethanol in alcohol are particularly damaging to the brain. Removing the toxic burden from your environment and being sure to get enough sleep will keep your glymphatic system moving and restoring your brain. Also see our previous post on removing environmental toxins!
More than 95% of supplements sold today are synthetic. This means they are manufactured in a lab from chemicals, rather than being sourced naturally from food. Synthetic vitamins and minerals are not recognized by or metabolized by the body. Instead they mimic natural vitamins but end up acting like a drug or medication in the body. Synthetic vitamins lack the necessary transporters because they have become isolated. Soy protein isolate is an example of this. Once consumed, isolated vitamins are either eliminated or stored in the body until the necessary elements can be produced to make use of them. Synthetic vitamins A, D, E, and K are especially harmful because they are fat soluble. They will build up in your fatty tissue and become toxic.
It’s especially harmful to take synthetic vitamins in super doses past the daily needs since they will end up being stored somewhere in the body.
Synthetic vitamins are also lacking trace minerals so they will use the body’s mineral reserves and cause mineral deficiencies.
Standard process and the brands that Dr. Song uses have been vetted to ensure they are derived from whole foods and safe for consumption.
Your blood may need to be cleansed because it has such an important role in the detox process. Red blood cells carry oxygen from the lungs toward the body’s tissues while carrying carbon dioxide away from tissues. White blood cells fight infections, including viral, bacterial, fungal, and parasitic, and fight off irregular cells like cancer cells. The blood carries these toxins away from the body’s tissues and pushes them out through the liver and kidneys. The blood also carries nutrients such as vitamins, antibodies, glucose and hormones toward cells and organs.
The blood as you can see is a vital detox fluid as well as provisional fluid in the body. When many toxins are dying off in the body they meet their final battle in the blood where white blood cells take them out and carry them to the detox organs. Excess oxidative stress and free radicals in the blood can impact your resilient immune system’s ability to handle external pathogens during these challenging times. In this case, cleansing the blood is beneficial for strengthening the immune system. Drinking plenty of water and taking full breaths will help detox and oxidize the blood. Ask Dr. Song about supplements that can also help with blood cleansing.
What are the body’s signals for nutritional deficiencies?
Hair loss is a sign that your body is not producing enough biotin, or B7. This can be caused by a number of factors, but most usually either the gut is not at optimal health and not correctly absorbing biotin, or antibiotics have depleted you of biotin. Work on restoring your gut health through diet and supplementation and avoid antibiotics as much as possible!
Oral health problems- chronic cavities, bleeding gums, salivary disfunction, ulcers in the mouth, cracked lips, etc- are usually a sign of deficiencies in B vitamins, iron, or zinc. Often vegetarians will have oral health issues because of the lack of B vitamins that are usually consumed in animal products. If you are vegetarian, make sure to consume fermented foods in order to get B vitamins.
Muscle cramping and tight muscles are usually caused by deficiencies in electrolytes magnesium, potassium, or calcium. They can also be caused by vitamin D3 deficiency. Epsom salt baths can help restore electrolytes, as well as using Himalayan pink salt on foods and drinking plenty of water. Sunbathing will help to restore vitamin D3.
Skin blemishes- acne, rashes, rosacea, etc- might be a sign of deficiencies in fat soluble vitamins D, E, or A. Restore fat soluble vitamins by eating plenty of grass fed butter, organ meats and vegetables.
Autoimmune diseases affect millions of people in America alone. For such a life-altering disease, the causes can be more simple than one would think. Root causes such as stressful lifestyle, GMO foods, gluten sensitivities, environmental toxins (heavy metals, toxic chemicals), and infections (parasite, fungal, etc) can all put stress on the immune system and lead to autoimmune disease. If you are dealing with autoimmune symptoms or inflammation, try to make changes in four areas.
First, make lifestyle changes. Find ways to reduce stress and anxiety and promote peace and well being.
Second, watch what you are eating and completely eliminate GMO foods. See our previous post on how to avoid GMOs. Also pay attention as to whether you might have a gluten sensitivity. If so, eliminating this can drastically reduce inflammation and autoimmune response.
Third, remove toxic chemicals from your environment by choosing clean cosmetics, fragrances, and cleaning products.
Fourth, make an appointment with Dr. Song to identify and eliminate infections and heavy metals in your body.
We will work with you to help you identify the root causes of autoimmune!
Alcohol is not a good idea if you are heavily detoxing because it adds extra stress to the liver, one of the primary detox organs. But if your health is strong enough to enjoy an occasional drink in moderation, you will want to make sure you are not consuming toxic alcoholic drinks.
Beer and wine are regulated by the TTB, which does not require ingredients to be listed on the bottle. Some additives that are often used in beer are GMO corn, MSG, high fructose corn syrup, and food dyes. Those are really nasty toxic ingredients that you want to avoid at all costs.
A toxin that is usually added in wine is sulphur dioxide, which allows commercial wines to quality control the taste of their wines for a longer shelf life.
For liquor, the most common toxin is going to be the GMO crops.
In addition, pesticides and herbicides are often used on the grapes and crops that produce wine, beer and liquor.
Since labeling standards for alcohol are poor, the only way to be sure you are avoiding these toxins is to buy only organic alcohol. Organic wine is required not to use sulfites, organic beer cannot contain any of those toxic ingredients, and organic liquor cannot be made with GMOs. And none of these will contain pesticides either!
Just make sure the wine and beer are labeled organic, as opposed to “made with organic grapes,” which still might contain sulfites, or “made with organic ingredients,” which still might contain toxic ingredients.
And if you are having a cocktail, make it at home with sugar-free mixes. Cheers! 🥂

While Fitbits claim the mission of improving health by tracking activity levels and heart rate, they emit EMFs (electromagnetic frequencies) which can actually cause harm to the heart. While any extra EMF frequency should be used in moderation including a cell phone, the Fitbit remains against the skin for long periods of time, so the exposure is more effective. Dr. Song has found in her testing of patients that the Fitbit can cause heart weakness. She doesn’t recommend wearing one. This may be because the heart is the organ that has the most electrical activity going on and therefore is most effected by EMFs.
The vegetarian diet eliminates meat, fish, and poultry. As a result, a greater portion of calorie intake comes from highly nutritious foods such as vegetables and fruits, legumes, nuts and whole grains. This floods the body with an abundance of vitamins and minerals and also helps to alkalize the internal environment in your body. It also protects you from the highly toxic hormones, antibiotics and GMOs that come from non-organic and processed meats.
The keto diet is a great solution for detoxing and fat burning, and it can do wonders for the health of your brain as well. Keto reduces carbohydrates down to only 10% of your diet and compensates with eating 70% healthy fats, and 20% protein. As a result the body goes into a state called ketosis. This means it begins to use ketones instead of glucose for energy to the body and brain. When you supply your body with an abundance of carbs, your body uses them for fuel in the form of glucose. But when you starve your body of carbs, it must turn to fats for fuel, converting them into ketones. Ketones are a much more efficient form of energy than glucose is, and the result is significant fat burning, as the body no longer needs to hold onto carbohydrates, as well as brain optimization.
The Mediterranean diet comes from the cultures of Italy and Greece and is based upon studies that found that life expectancy was much higher in these areas than in America in the 1960s. The diet varies based on the more specific region, but typically includes a lot of vegetables and fruits, olive oil, nuts and seeds, legumes, whole grains and breads, fish, and a moderate amount of eggs, poultry, cheese and yogurt. The diet avoids added sugars, processed meat, refined grains, refined oils, and processed foods in general. A key factor of this diet is the abundance of olive oil which contributes healthy monounsaturated fats, and the lack of refined fats and oils which are very bad for the heart.
The Whole 30 diet is named after the challenge to eat by the diet for 30 days, but it is actually a good diet to stick to, and the #1 tested diet for Dr. Song’s patients. It’s basically eating real food in its most natural, least processed form. Meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, healthy fats, and herbs and spices are all encouraged.
Dairy, grains, added sugars including “good” sugars, refined fats, and most legumes are not allowed. Processed foods such as snacks or baked goods are not allowed, even if they have “good” ingredients.
If you start out doing the diet for 30 days, you can use it as an elimination diet, and test out what does and does not bother you when added back in.
Ask Dr. Song to test which diet is right for you next time you come in!
Dr. Song’s food and diet test can determine the diet that is best for your right now. What we put into our bodies will always have an outcome in either toxicity or wellness. One of the most healing things you can do for yourself is to feed your body the nutrients that its cells are craving. It is not only nutrients that we need but micronutrients, which are catalysts to processing other nutrients. For example, certain minerals are necessary in order for the body to hydrate when consuming water. Because of the scrupulous needs of your body, we can refine your diet to exactly what you need. The most common winners of Dr. Song’s test are keto, mediterranean, vegetarian and #1 is Whole 30.
Traveling any time soon? The downside of traveling by plane is the exposure to radiation while going through security and while flying, which can throw off your cellular alignment for months. Be informed on how to travel safely and you will avoid unwanted side affects.
1. Protect from radiation. Choose the smaller scanner/ pat down over going through the full body scanner in security. Secondly, Dr. Song recommends a product called the Hedron pendant, which you can wear during your time in the airport and on the flight. The Hedron pendant has been tested at high frequencies and has been shown to shield from radiation.
2. Dr. Song recommends that you take the Standard Process supplement, parotid pmg/ cytozyme parotid to strengthen the parotid gland to protect from extra chemical and heavy metal exposure. Take 3-5 tablets before, during and after the flight, depending on the hours of the flight.
3. Natural jet lag adjustment. Take the day and night spray, 12 sprays, 6 times per day.
4. Hydrate with better quality of water: Get Voss (glass bottle is better if you can find it), Fiji or Evian water, and keep drinking during the flight.
5. Move around and stretch if you can during the flight to improve circulation.
