Last week me and had the absolute honor of taking Oh My Ribs! east in support of our BF Amy Witry’s solo show Once Upon a Kidney It was so great to see absolutely KILL IT (literally standing ovation style). We’ve truly enjoyed watching this show grow and change and blossom. Huge congrats and thanks! to Amy for bringing us along on her journey. We are so glad we got to be part of your magic! What an amazing creative moment that you wholeheartedly deserve! We are so proud! P.S. we absolutely made the most of our NYC trip. We loved our hotel and were obsessed with the house cat. We were able to hang with my bestie at , my college buddy , and I even took myself to a fantastic show, It was so thrilling to hear one of my all time fave voices live!!! It was an amazing NYC trip on all fronts!!! I’m so grateful we got to go!

One week ago, my friends Matt and Lisa held one last "Friday Frenzy" in their Hollywood theatre to bring over 11 years of extraordinary fun to a close. I attended on opening night in December 2011, and was a regular OMR! attendee over the intervening years. Their warmth always made it welcoming, and I often looked forward to making the Friday night drive through Greater Los Angeles to see the comedy lineup they'd put together. It often felt like a comedy lab, where stand-ups could home their craft and work through new material before a supportive audience. Now that their time at that location is done, I will miss future Friday nights that could have been spent there...though am hopeful that this is simply the end of one chapter and the beginning of another for Oh My Ribs. Thanks for all the great memories thus far.

On this day in Ribstory... The 1st EVER OFFICIAL Friday Frenzy happened (before it was called Friday Frenzy) 11 years ago!!! Thank you for 11 magical years!!!

This past weekend was one of our best ever at Ribs! We kicked off the weekend Thursday with my amazing level 1 standup students (sorry we didn’t take a pic Zoe🤦🏻‍♀️). Then Friday was my hilarious advanced class students. I literally couldn’t be more proud of BOTH of these kickass classes. I know this time of year is a bit hectic and distracting but everyone absolutely killed it!! Also huge thanks to the Riblets that performed with my students and were obviously hysterical. The icing on the cake 😉 was celebrating Matt's birthday (thank you for the cake ) and getting in some much needed karaoke. We wrapped up the weekend with an incredible storytelling show led by the brilliant Parker Stickle. Every woman was absolutely genius and riveting in their stories. I’m really thankful for such a rewarding and fun weekend at Ribs. It’s hard not to get a little teary thinking this could be one of our last in the space, but I’m embracing every minute I can right now. Thank you all for making it so much fun to do what we love.
