Pink's Hot Dogs and Mr. T, a chic French restaurant in the Sycamore District, are joining forces to celebrate the opening of the Olympics on July 27 and 28 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The legendary Pink's and hip Mr. T will elevate Pink's iconic hot dogs with a delectable array of French-inspired accoutrements, including succulent Beef Bourguignon with crispy onion rings, velvety Béarnaise sauce paired with tangy sweet pickles, melted raclette cheese complemented by aioli and chives, and rich Gruyère cheese with caramelized sweet onions. Naturally, these gourmet French hot dogs will be accompanied by perfectly crisp French fries and an array of four French-inspired cocktails.
The festivities will take place at 953 N. Sycamore, at the corner of Sycamore and Romaine, in the vibrant Sycamore District. The Pink family has had the pleasure of dining at Mr. T on several occasions, savoring their exquisite dishes. The owner of Mr. T, Guillaume Guedj, approached Richard and Gloria Pink with the idea of collaborating, inspired by the Parisian tradition where neighboring restaurants join forces to create unique culinary delights.
In this unique collaboration, Pink's is providing their renowned hot dogs, while Mr. T is crafting the gourmet toppings and offering their elegant setting to commemorate the opening of the Paris Olympics. A 75-inch TV will be available within Mr. T for guests to watch the Olympic events, and a DJ will be spinning French tunes to enhance the ambiance. The price of each French Hot Dog will be $10.95 plus the cost of French Fries and Drinks.
