I realized that I forgot to post photos of Rose Parade 2022. It was a whirlwind because Kelsey had a fluke accident and got kicked in the face by her horse seconds before she was to step out onto the parade route! She was as tough and determined as we all know she is and even though the national broadcast photographer zoomed into her for her 10 seconds of fame, she smiled like a champ and the professional that she is! We are hoping for less dramatic details this go around! Watch for Blue Shadows again this New Years Day (sort of) on January 2, 2023!!

Betty was a great supporter of our local zoo and Kelsey practically grew up there!! It seemed a fitting tribute on Betty’s 100th birthday as Kelsey is now considering an education in exotic animal study. And GLAZA will match all donations through the end of the month😀

This is a beautiful and impactful way to celebrate a true animal advocate!
