It’s been hectic these past few days with long nights of installing and running around shopping for last-minute things. It feels good to get things done!

Half way through the week and all I can think of is how much I miss my kids (and 🐕!)

For now, I’m winding down for the day.

Not only is it St. Valentine’s Day today but it is also Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. A time for fasting, prayer and obtaining graces. 🙏🏻

Thanksgiving week!

Our family is staying local and having family (& friends that are like family!) over for a late lunch.

I’m not on turkey duty this year (😮‍💨) but I am in charge of some yummy sides! Every year my kids ask me to make this Sweet Potato Casserole. It’s loaded with butter, brown sugar and a scrumptious pecan crust! (gained 5 lbs typing that!) It’s so good! DM me if you want the recipe.
