For the past several days I have noticed whenever I tweeted certain words (including trans) the post wouldn’t go through. I tested that theory by making 2 generic post back to back which went through, then went back to one with the word “trans” in it and again it went into drafts. Someone then told me the same thing happened to them when using the word Palestine. I’m not one to rant about deactivating an account, but wanted everyone who follows me on Twitter to know I deactivated my account it wasn’t removed. Maybe a part of me knew it was time anyway and I needed a push. ✌🏼💛

Honored to not only have written the Foreword for my dear friend book ***rAmerica, but also for sharing space with him, and so many others during a panel at the last week. We live in a time where book ban efforts are spreading like wildfire, and Q***r youth need to see and share stories of empowerment with their peers more than ever. This book is timely and important! I also have an extra copy I would love to sign and give away to someone? Tag them (or yourself) and I will pick someone! 💛

Summer should be a time for kids to take a break from school. But for families and children facing hunger, summer can often mean up to 90 days without school-provided meals.
