Windows haven't come in, so we're closed one more day, BUT thankfully it's being fixed today, so 🙏🏽🤞🏼 open tomorrow. That stump on the sidewalk is the leftover piece of a tree that was planted the year we opened our shop in 2013 through . We're so grateful that we got to enjoy it for as long as we did and even more thankful everyone involved here and is physically safe and sound. This was us last year. A super pared down meal with my mom and aunt, followed by a brief stop from my siblings families, well, because covid. This year we're vaccinated, boosted, and still wearing masks, but excited to have our families come together under one roof. I'm bringing dessert, which is still weird to me because I don't want to force my family to eat our food, but they still like it. 🤷‍♀️ ♥️😁

Starting today, Monday, November 8, City of LA requires all customers entering establishments like ours to show proof of vaccination status or a negative COVID test. Unfortunately, we do not have enough staff to ask for vaccination status, so we will be serving our customers at the door.

That being said, we support this mandate to protect our staff, community, and loved ones.
