It is with heavy hearts we inform you that AJ Maldonado, HHI’s house announcer and longtime voice of Hip Hop International has succumbed to a long and courageous battle with cancer. AJ was a beloved member of the HHI family since its inception and his congeniality and warmth brought him, countless friends, worldwide. We will never forget his strong presence and the sound of his voice especially when announcing the scores at the conclusion of the World Hip Hop Dance Championship as we watched crews running onto the stage filled with emotion. We will cherish and hold on to the memories forever.

Get ready for 2022 with HHI's online education!
The HHI Rules & Regulations Course provides an in-depth view of how dance crews are judged. Perfect for dancers, choreographers, or anyone interested in hip hop dance competitions.
If you want to become a judge, once you've completed the course you can take the National Judge Certification Exam to become a National Certified Judge. Completion of an HHI Rules & Regulations Course within the last three years is a prerequisite to taking the exam. The International Judge Certification Course & Exam are for National Certified Judges who meet the qualifications to judge HHI championships internationally.
All courses and exams are conducted in English on Zoom!
