Gotham is a female-founded cannabis concept space committed to curating and sharing one-of-a-kind products, art, and experiences that reflect New York’s rich history and influence.

Dear OW family, friends, makers and supporters,

This is a very difficult message to write, but after 10 1/2 wonderful, dedicated, inspiring and fulfilling years, it is time for me to let the reins of Otherwild go.

Otherwild was born from the love and creativity of an incredible, beautifull, magical, and wondrous diverse community. Collaborating, hosting, supporting and generating an incredible program of makers, artists, entertainers, writers, crafters, organizations, designers, manufacturers and personalities has been the dream of a lifetime. From carrying the most incredible array of products from the most wonderful vendors I know, to designing unique apparel and swimwear, to hosting comedy shows, tarot readings, parties, barter/trade fairs, food swaps and yard sales, concerts, performances, workshops, fundraisers and book releases, to going internationally viral with El Futuro es Femeninx/The Future Is Female and raising hundreds-of-thousands of dollars for organizations that keep our communities safe & alive, OW will always be a part of my imagination and perseverance in the ever-challenging world in which we live and thrive as a q***r & allied intersectional community .

I hope OW will continue on in some form or fashion, but for now, OW is peacing-out with a blowout sale in-store & online, which we hope you can support.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance, a day to honor, grieve and celebrate the Trans community members who are no longer with us. In 1999, transgender activist Gwendolyn Ann Smith, held vigil for Rita Hester, a trans woman who was killed in 1998. This public grieving and show of love became an annual tradition, every November 20th.

We must continue the daily fight for Trans liberation and joy and honor the heartbreaking, resilient and beautiful history of our Trans elders and ancestors.
