Born and raised in Los Angeles, Heather Wong started her career in 2007 with her popular blog and custom dessert delivery service, The Scootabaker, with flavors highlighting her Chinese and Mexican heritage.

She spent time at Bottega Louie, Sweetsalt, Cascabel, and Josephine Bakery serving as Executive Pastry Chef. She can be seen making it to the semi-finals on season 4 of the perennial fan favorite Spring Baking Championship on The Food Network.

Establishing FLOURING in the summer of 2020, Heather aims to focus on a Southern California inspired taste and aesthetic, using ingredients sourced from local farmers and vendors. Happily serving the Los Angeles community since 2009, and now head of a small, women-led team.

Our signature cookies & creme cake!

Vanilla cake with crushed Oreo cookies baked in, layered with cookie crumb buttercream and more crushed Oreos. Decorated with vanilla meringue and, you know it, more cookie crumbs.

Somehow it’s December and another year has almost come to a close. We’re ready to soak up every last second of it baking for you. 🍰🎀

Couldn’t think of a better way to close out the year than (softly, sweetly, & quietly) opening our doors for you. 🎄 We’ll be open Fri-Sun from 9-4 for the rest of December (until we go on holiday break on the 24th)! So stop by, say hello, grab a slice of cake or 2, and close out 2023 with some sweetness. We’ll be celebrating our **GRAND OPENING** January, 13, so stay tuned for those details too.
