Republican Texas billionaire Harlan Crow could soon receive a subpoena to produce information about his relationship with conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas as the Judiciary Committee steps up its ethics probe into the high court. This Friday is the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles’s installation dinner. The new President, Jeannine Taylor, an African American woman and an accomplished attorney will lead the organization in its mission of ‘Justice, Faith, and Power’. I will be sworn in as a member of the Board of Governors. I’m happy to support Jeannine and the other phenomenal women Board Members who represent the organization.
