Republican Texas billionaire Harlan Crow could soon receive a subpoena to produce information about his relationship with conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas as the Judiciary Committee steps up its ethics probe into the high court. The article states ““In order to adequately address this crisis, it is imperative that we understand the full extent of how people with interests before the Court are able to use undisclosed gifts to gain private access to the justices,” the statement continued.”

Policies have to be followed and sexual harassment needs to be taken seriously. Managers especially must follow policies. No one wants n**e photos shown of them without their consent, especially at work. When a store manager receives notice of important issues it must be handled properly.

Operating rooms need to be kept clean. It is a patient and employee safety issue that should be taken seriously, and mandated by law. No one wants themselves or their loved ones to go to a dirty hospital and increase the risk of infection. Common sense right? Not to some people.
A judge was caught on camera sending more than 500 texts during a murder trial that included comments about the parties in the trial and counsel. I guess the cameras are in courtrooms/courthouses for multiple reasons. Does this stuff really happen?

This Friday is the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles’s installation dinner. The new President, Jeannine Taylor, an African American woman and an accomplished attorney will lead the organization in its mission of ‘Justice, Faith, and Power’.
