This handsome grey tabby prefers to spend his days lounging around, napping in cozy spots, and gazing out of windows or screen doors, taking in the world at his own leisurely pace. Though Wozzeck enjoys his alone time, he’s also a people-centric kitty who adores being close to his humans. Today’s supermeowdels offer you a bit of umami. Meet our friends Spicy and Sour. Our friend Spicy is a medium-energy, companionable, and play-motivated kitty who loves to have fun. He’s a big fan of string and plushy toys, often engaging in spirited games of fetch. While he enjoys waking up and falling asleep with you, he also loves trotting around the house, watching nature, or cuddling with his brother Sour.

Spicy can be a little skittish—sometimes he’ll look at you like he’s never seen you before and run away. But as soon as he remembers where he is, he’s incredibly lovey and sweet! He thrives with a companion, as he enjoys spending most of his day by his brother Sour’s side. He’s a bit wary of the resident dog and tends to keep his distance.

Spicy’s gentle nature makes him a sweet, kind, and timid boy who brings joy to those around him. If you’re looking for a playful yet affectionate companion who enjoys the company of other cats, Spicy is the perfect addition to your home.

Sour is a love bug at his core—he's obsessed with you! He wants to be as close to you as possible, often trying to put his entire head in your mouth or crawl into your skin. He craves your attention and will grab your face with his paw to make you look into his eyes if you’re distracted. He has a quirky habit of screaming whenever he feels he’s not getting enough attention, and he loves following you from room to room.

Sour could thrive as a solo kitty as long as he has a human who adores him and can give him plenty of attention. He doesn’t mind dogs at all; while he’s not interested in playing with them, he’s comfortable sitting near them.

Celie is adventurous as she is loving, she has just the right amount of s***k! This curious little explorer loves to investigate her surroundings but when it’s time to relax, she’s all about snuggling up close. As a bottle baby, Celie has a sweet habit of falling asleep while suckling on your hand—a precious reminder of just how much she cherishes being near her people.

Celie is the ultimate nap partner, often drifting off in your arms after a busy day of making biscuits at her imaginary factory. She’s incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than to be close to her humans, whether she’s napping, playing, or just hanging out.

Celie shares a special bond with her sister Nettie, and the two are the best of friends. Playtime is a big part of Celie’s day, and you couldn’t ask for a better playmate than Nettie. Growing up in a home with children, Celie has shown herself to be sweet-natured, without a hint of aggression or fear—just pure love and joy.

Amaretto is a charming and food-loving feline with a delightful independent streak! Recently transitioning from her mommy cat duties, she’s now reveling in the joys of playtime with wand toys, which bring out her inner kitten. Amaretto loves lounging in her cat tree or basking in a sunny spot on the floor. She’s incredibly chatty, especially when it’s time for her next meal, and enjoys being in the same room as you while having her own space, often on a nearby chair or occasionally joining you on the couch.

Amaretto has a keen interest in human food and might try to sneak a bite or lick your plate. She’d be perfectly happy as a solo kitty but doesn’t mind the presence of kittens, though she usually prefers to keep her distance and isn’t one for cuddling with them. She’s comfortable around teenagers and has even sought out affection from them.

Her foster’s favorite things about her are her striking two-toned green eyes and her independent yet sweet nature. Amaretto is the ideal choice for someone who enjoys a low-key cat with a relaxed attitude. While she may not always NEED human interaction, she is wonderfully sweet, never skittish, and completely non-aggressive. Meet Indy, our delightful medium-energy girl with a heart full of love! This people-centric sweetheart adores hanging out by the window, watching bird TV, savoring delicious meals, and diving into playful adventures. Her affectionate nature shines as she presses her whole body against you and showers you with kisses. Indy’s curiosity knows no bounds—one time she even got herself stuck in a closet!

Indy is super fun and full of personality. She’s a little zoomer with a playful spirit and a cute, dog-like meow. Although she loves people and is great with older kids, she prefers to be the only pet in her home. Indy has had a tough time with other cats in the past and isn't too fond of dogs. She’s also sensitive about her belly and will give a gentle warning nibble if she’s not comfortable with something.

Indy has FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), which means she needs to be the only kitty in her new home. FeLV is a virus that affects the immune system, so it’s important for her to be in a stress-free environment where she can thrive. Despite this, Indy is a sweet, playful companion who will bring a lot of joy and cuddles into your life. She also has some food sensitivities, so a bit of extra care with her diet will help keep her happy and healthy.

Introducing Kirstie, a delightful and engaging cat who thrives on companionship and loves to be part of your daily life. Whether she’s sunbathing on the bed, snuggling under the blanket at bedtime, or seeking out scratches on your lap, Kirstie is always close by. She’s particularly fond of spring toys, catnip mice, and string toys, and she often follows you from room to room, looking for some fun or affection.

With her raspy meow and talkative nature, Kirstie makes her needs known—especially when she’s hungry or excited to play. She’s a fan of head, chin, and butt scratches, and her purring will warm your heart. Kirstie is independent and will set boundaries when she’s had enough, but she loves a good cuddle now and then.

Kirstie enjoys being close to you and may even perch on your chest or the backrest of your chair. She gets occasional bursts of zoomies and plays energetically with her toys. Although she’s not interested in human food and prefers her meals, she’s not fond of other cats and prefers a home with established personalities. Kirstie has a quirky side, including a gentle, claw-free slap if you do something to annoy her -- she communicates in a firm but gentle manner!

Meet Editrix, a medium-energy little lady who's people-centric and a bit of a shadow cat. If you’re home, she wants to be around you. Love is her biggest motivator. Editrix is slowly learning what play even is. She’s young, about 9 months old, and has energy but mostly channels it into aggressive cuddling and demanding pets – with love bites when she’s been starved for attention for too long.

After a few minutes of directed attention, she chills and just wants to snuggle by a person’s side. She’s indifferent to toys, engages a bit with wand toys, phone games, and laser pointers, but gets confused after a few minutes and runs away, likely due to her outdoor life.

Editrix is a full-on lap kitty, but if you hang with her to her satisfaction, she will usually abandon the lap and find her own space where she can stretch out a bit more, always where she can see or sense you though. She's big on the hair sniffing thing and those aforementioned love nips, which might calm down once she's with her forever person.

She's an absolute cuddle bug and would make an excellent sleep companion. She’s still a baby, but all signs point to her wanting to be an only cat, making her perfect for someone looking for just one kitten. For someone who wants a cat cuddled by their side all the time while working or hanging out, Editrix is the one.

Meet Small Fry, a medium-energy kitty who’s both companionable and people-centric. She is always ready to share her affection. Small Fry adores playtime, enjoying tree scratchers, strings (safely) , and shoelaces, but her absolute favorite is the wand toy. She's an expert hunter!

Small Fry is a shadow kitty, preferring to be near her person, whether that means sleeping on your chest or next to you while you work on your computer. Her quirky side shines through her love for electronics; she likes to inspect phones, computers, and even enjoys watching TV or playing video games with you. She’s also fond of giving kisses and grooming you, adding to her charm with a cute, rolling "R" meow and a habit of suckling on blankets.

What makes Small Fry truly special is her loving personality. She’s always interested in what you’re doing in the cutest ways, like curling up next to you while you stretch on the ground. She’s a joy to have around, never hiding away but instead choosing to be close to her human or a sibling.. She’s better suited to families who can appreciate her lively spirit without overwhelming her.

While Small Fry loves to sleep on her people, she isn’t always keen on being petted while she’s awake. However, her sweet and loving company more than makes up for it.

Meet Betty Munroe. Life was not always easy for this beautiful young gal, however we were happy to step in and lend a hand when it wasn’t possible for Betty to remain in her home. Happy adoptaversary to Sante D'Or alum Poseidon. His mom shared this update: Poseidon is now Mister BooBoo and he lives with us in Vista California. He went from a scaredy cat to a love cat. He purrs and plays a lot and loves his catmate Macho! Thank you for our beautiful boy who is now 2 years old! ! He even has a portrait with Macho, the elder who loves him! He has a great life here and could not be more pampered!!

Wishing Mister BooBoo and his elder brother many more happy snuggles in the sunshine.

Kitten “season” should be renamed kitten “the season that never ends”. Los Angeles, like cities around the country, have thousands, more like millions of unhoused cats and come the warmer weather, babies arrive in droves. Here are two of our latest acquisitions. Unnamed at this moment but getting serious love from our team, and looking forward to a much happier future.

Meet Aka, a medium-energy, people-centric boy who loves playtime above all else. He enjoys playing with his sisters and has favorite toys, like a little gray rat and a yellow ball. He often prefers to tussle with his friends. Though he loves to cuddle, he can get sensitive around the other kittens. Sometimes he just needs an invitation, but once he has it, he'll cuddle for hours.

One of his quirks is his childlike demeanor. He’s long and awkward, like a 13-year-old boy trapped in a tiny kitten’s body. Curious about the world and especially other people and animals, he can't be a solo kitty because he loves playing with his sisters so much!

He's very interested in playing with the resident dog and cat, often initiating playtime with them just as he does with his sisters. He seems okay with both cats and dogs in the household, so having a suitable friend for him to play with would be ideal.He hasn’t been around kids yet but has the exuberant personality of a toddler.

He’s the sweetest little guy ever, winning over even the grumpiest of cats. When he isn’t playing, he loves following us around the house, always curious about what we’re doing. Although he sometimes gets in the mix of things, it’s just his way of showing love.

Aka also enjoys when someone sings to him, so karaoke parties are a must. Right now, he likes Taylor Swift and Chappell Roan, but he’s open to anything.

Po-TAY-to…Po-TAH-to. Meet Tater! This boy is a medium-energy creature who loves spending time with you but can also chill on his own. Mealtime is the most exciting part of his day! He loves stalking and pouncing—whether it’s a small toy, a teaser toy, or his sister/foster brother. He’s also big on cuddling with his sister and humans!

Tater's only quirk is how talkative he is. This baby boy needs a buddy in his life—he enjoys being close to his friend or sibling for cuddling, wrestling, and running around together. He’s curious about the dogs in his life and would probably be okay with kids.

Tater is a very social little guy who enjoys talking and meeting new people. He warms up quickly and will be purring for new friends within minutes. He’s very silly and, surprisingly, doesn’t show many “orange cat” tendencies… yet. He’s well-behaved, soft, and sweet.

The tortie parade marches on. Meet Moametal, a medium-energy gal who loves both snuggling and having her own space. Food is a big motivator for her! She loves jumping for feather wand toys and cat dancers and enjoys playing and relaxing with her sister, Momometal. Moametal loves exploring and playing with all kinds of toys, and after she catches one, she enjoys bunny-kicking it with her white bunny socks. She is sweet and gentle.

Moametal and her sister Momometal would probably do best staying together and they also get along well with kids. Moametal loves pets and purrs heavily when relaxed. She even enjoys belly rubs and never bites or scratches people. She’s also very tolerant of having her nails trimmed.

Meet Eve Polastri who has a streak of independence and a true love for food. She has enough energy to play with her siblings throughout the day, but often needs a few extra minutes to relax before jumping back into the fun. She’s chill like that!

More independent than her siblings, she still loves to cuddle at night. Though she might be a bit reluctant to be held, she secretly enjoys being rocked like a baby—a little insider secret. Aside from enjoying being held and rocked, she loves looking at herself in the mirror. Ideally, the mirror should be at her height, but she’s fine with being lifted to check her reflection. She also likes to hold hands and will offer her paw for comfort at bedtime.

Eve enjoys soft rock music from time to time. Her favorite artist right now is Radiohead, although she has also recently been enjoying some songs from Cake. Her music taste is as unique and cool as her personality.

Though she enjoys the company of her siblings and playtime, she appreciates her alone time too. She knows how to unwind at the end of a long day with her person and is easy to chill with.

She gets along with super chill dogs and can coexist with those matching her energy and personality. However, she might not enjoy playing with larger or more energetic dogs. She might also do well with a calm child, as she loves to cuddle and play as long as you want. She’s incredibly sweet and loving, yet also enjoys her playtime and alone time.

If you're looking for an easy going and slightly quirky little lady, Eve's your girl! Flexible and easy going, Eve would fit in most homes looking for a nice buddy to add to their household! Be warned, Eve LOVES food and will counter surf to see what she can find. Despite our talks, she still occasionally gets caught in the act.
