"The peer mentor program allows patients to leave the hospital with an understanding of what to do next in their life." Peer mentors share their knowledge and lived experiences to assist patients in adapting and re-integrating into their communities. Our peer mentor program in Ukraine is making a profound impact on patients navigating life post-injury. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, we help newly injured individuals lead more independent lives and reach their fullest potential. Can you help us reach our $10,000 goal and support the sustainability of our peer mentor program. Your donation—no matter the amount—enables us to help more individuals in Ukraine adapt, socialize, and lead active lives post-injury. Visit momentum-ukraine2024.raisely.com to learn more.
Thanks to your incredible compassion and generosity, we've soared past our year-end goal, raising $72,637—exceeding our expectations by over $30,000! With your support, we can't wait to make an even bigger impact in 2024—whether that be expanding global access to quality assistive products, educating and training local healthcare professionals, or strengthening national health systems. Together, we are creating a more inclusive world. Thank you and happy new year!

Viktor, Sergij and Roman received rehabilitation services through our work in Ukraine over eight years ago. Since then, they've gone on to do great things in their lives, and for their country. Through the inspirational stories of these three remarkable men, you'll see not only the transformative impact of access to a wheelchair and quality rehabilitation services, but also the transformative impact of someone believing in you even when you might not believe in yourself. Since the conflict with Russia began in 2014, Momentum Wheels for Humanity's work in Ukraine has focused on building local capacity to treat newly injured people and people with pre-existing conditions, while working with the Ukrainian government to develop national policies that establish quality, sustainable rehabilitation services throughout the country. Our work in Ukraine is more important than ever. Since the Russian invasion in 2022, we have extended and expanded our programmingI across the country to meet the growing and urgent need for rehabilitation and assistive products. If you would like to support Ukraine's most vulnerable population, please consider making a donation today: https://momentum-4-ukraine.raisely.com
