Meet the hand behind the syringe! Stefanie, RN is one of the top Nurse injectors in the nation. She's been injecting for 15+ years and was a surgical Nurse prior to that. Stefanie has been with Dr. Rivkin's practice for over 10 years and is our most requested injector!

Stefanie believes aesthetics is a perspective. Many people have a different eye for beauty , dimension, and symmetry. She feels that especially now, the Eye for Beauty has been changed for many people through social media. Her philosophy always has been LESS is MORE. Stefanie believes in natural beauty, keeping whatever beautiful face sits in her chair no matter what age or ethnic background looking absolutely natural and beautiful, but 10-15 years younger and refreshed looking .

This is Edita, RN, she believes the best way to achieve optimal results is to analyze her patient's skin first. A patient's skin will tell you a lot about how to approach their treatment plan, and which products will work best on them. She's great at giving her patient's a full treatment plan that includes products and treatments to improve their overall skin health, in addition to toxin and fillers.

Another day, another gorgeous Rivkin Nose! 👃 This is probably the most common nose type we see. Noses like this lack structure at the tip, making it droop down. Dr. Rivkin used Voluma, a long lasting hyaluronic acid filler, to lift and project her tip forward. After the tip is lifted to the desired height, Dr. Rivkin adds Voluma to the bridge of her nose to match the height of the tip and give her a straight nose.

I work for a busy Cosmetic Surgeon in Brentwood who is looking for front desk staff. Knowledge in Botox, fillers, lasers a plus!

My how technology has improved. When these came out we thought we were living in the year 3000.

Let's clear up some questions on neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau). It can take two to four days before the weakening of the muscle begins. You can see the maximum results of your treatment anywhere from ten to fourteen days after treatment. The longevity of neuromodulators lasts anywhere from 2-6 months. The average longevity lasts about 3-4 months. This of course depends on the dosage, a smaller dose will usually mean that the results won't last as long as a higher dose.

The effects of all neuromodulators wear off slowly over time. This means you won't wake up one day and your movement is back 100%, this is a gradual process. The same goes for fillers, your body breaks down the product slowly over time.

IYKYK 🥴

No cheek filler doesn't actually lift the face, but it does make the face appear lifted. Bahareh, PA used Voluma to enhance this patients cheek bones, giving a stronger contour to her mid face. Enhancing her cheeks gives her face a slightly lifted appearance because it changes the facial proportions and where the eye is drawn 👌

We're not a fan of poorly injected lips 🤚 But we do love a good lip rehab! This patient came to us with poorly placed lip filler (obviously not done by us). The filler was puffy above her top border, pushing her top lip out. Bad lip filler takes away from a persons beauty rather than enhancing it 😑

Bahareh, PA first dissolved the previous lip filler using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. The enzyme breaks down hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane products most commonly used in the lips. After the enzyme did it's job, usually we wait a full week or 2 for all swelling to go down, Bahareh used a hyaluronic acid filler to refill her lips creating a beautiful lip shape. This patient still wanted pouty lips, however as you can see there is a right way to inject them. Bahareh gave her a crisp border and flipped her top lip up, rather than projecting it out 👏👏👏

If you've had lip filler, we're sure you can relate. Lips swell, it's part of the deal. Most patients love their lips after about a week or so when swelling has gone down and the lips look soft and natural. At what stage do you love your lips? 👄

Ok, maybe not allll of them. Which could you do without?

The Non Surgical Nose Job, but permanent 👍 When done by an experienced injector there are only a few injection sites on the nose. This limits trauma to the nose, possible risks, swelling and the chance of bruising. More difficult cases of course might require more pokes but for him that wasn't the case.
