The Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation preserves and commemorates the Heart Mountain World War ll, emphasizing the lasting impact on liberty and civil rights.

These limited edition items contribute directly to the preservation of history, the promotion of educational programs, and the facilitation of meaningful outreach initiatives.

Ally has a special connection to Heart Mountain because her grandma was interned there, as a young Japanese American.

When I see old photos of the youth in internment camps across America, it reminds me that they were just as American as everyone else.
Seeing them in their fashionable 40’s outfits, hanging out with their friends, playing baseball and hosting dances, I realize that they made the best out of a terrible situation all the while trying to maintain their American-ness despite what their country was forcing them to do. I’m thankful for what the Nikkei generations before me endured so that I can be here today ❤️

Asian American Girl Club is an apparel company set to redefine what it means to be a modern Asian American woman. Whether it be through flooding your timeline with powerful images of rad women, creating content -from interviews to skincare to straight up real talk, or designing goodies with you specifically in mind, we’re dedicated to the normalization of the next generation of AAPI gals and boss babes. To give voice and celebrate.

As a Japanese American, I value the vital contribution and sacrifice Black Americans have given to our country from day one. It is unjust that Black communities continue to be marginalized while so many of us benefit from the foundations that they have laid before us. I hope that this image of Yuri Kochiyama, a Japanese American who actively supported Black lives decades ago, alongside Malcolm X, who always had the best interest of Black Americans at heart, will be a reminder that allyship is the key to the truly equal America we want to see.
