Shortly after Blanche Sizelove married Ray Magee, they opened up a shop inside as the Old Missouri Horseradish Company! Effective April 1, 2020, Magee’s Kitchen and House of Nuts will cease operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is with a heavy heart that we make this decision as we have faithfully served Los Angeles for over 100 years. Unfortunately, during this crisis, the best way to serve the community is to not be here at all. We believe that it is in the best interest of our extended family that we all do our part to slow the spread, and that means keeping our employees and customers at home. As soon as we feel that we can protect the health and safety our team, we will reopen to serve the community.
